A Culinary Symphony at Daily Rituals, Hyderabad – Where Art Meets Flavor
Stepping into Daily Rituals, Hyderabad, I was instantly drawn into an immersive dining experience that effortlessly combines traditional Indian flavors with contemporary creativity. Nestled in the heart of Hyderabad’s vibrant food scene, this progressive Indian café is more than just a restaurant—it’s a celebration of culinary craftsmanship, where each dish is designed not just to delight the palate but to mesmerize the eyes.
We embarked on a journey of taste unlike any other, beginning with the Mango Mastani Chaat—a fusion of sweet, tangy, and crunchy textures that turned a humble street food favorite into a luxurious delight. The freshness of ripe mango and chat masala was a best kick in for the summer. The presentation was a feast for eyes. The Mutton Lukmi, a nod to Hyderabad’s rich culinary heritage, was crisp, golden, and generously packed with melt-in-your-mouth mutton, spiced to perfection.
Then came the Karuvepaku Royyalu vepudu, a standout dish featuring prawns infused with the deep aroma of curry leaves. Smoky, aromatic, and bursting with flavor, it was the ultimate coastal indulgence. Our feast reached new heights with the Kothimeera Chicken Pulao, where fragrant rice enveloped succulent, tender chicken, elevated by the freshness of coriander—comforting yet refined, this dish was soul-satisfying.
To complement our meal, we indulged in Beer on Tap, a crisp and refreshing addition that balanced the richness of our dishes. The Khatta Jamun Mocktail was an absolute revelation, blending the sweet tang of jamun with a refreshing tartness that made for an unforgettable sip.
What makes Daily Rituals truly unique is its unwavering commitment to blending nostalgia with innovation. Not only do they elevate local favorites to artistic masterpieces, but they also introduce exclusive offerings you won’t find anywhere else. Their take on traditional flavors is bold, inventive, and visually stunning, proving that food is meant to be both savored and admired.
Dining at Daily Rituals is not just a meal—it’s a gastronomic experience that engages all the senses. Whether you're a devoted foodie or simply looking for a place that celebrates flavor with flair, this café is an unmissable gem...
Read morethe first place in Hyderabad that's, well, not uptight. like their name suggests, they are chilled out and they want you to chill out. just look at their commandments on the blackboard. it's delightful and, well, not uptight!
comforted by that, you walk into a place that doesn't look roomy at the reservation gate, but expands layer by layer the further inside you go. the ground floor has a bar and plenty of seating, but so do the terrace and the basement. the terrace and the basement are slightly bigger than the indoor seating on the ground floor and there's a private tuck-in on the terrace, but don't yet be disappointed with the indoor set-up on the ground floor.
despite the indoor seating, there's tilted windows reminiscent of Venetian houses, awnings that cover them, and diffused lighting with pull cord switches. we went here on a sultry evening and were pleased to find the entire floor well ventilated enough to make the cigarette smoke all around us nearly unnoticeable.
then there's the mouth-watering menu. just about everything makes you want to order it and we did end up ordering too much. try out their Quail Fry and Bheja Fry for sure, but keep going back to try out more. the Quail and the Bheja will make you want to.
finally, there's the service. blazing-fast is an understatement. we placed our first orders, turned around to discuss the menu for less than five minutes, and turned back around to find our orders coming to the table. wow!
we were being served by Dushmant who was cordial, within an arm's reach, and super-attentive despite the din. ask for him if you want to be sure of the service experience we had.
if i were forced to take points away, i would do it for just one restroom per floor. for how busy the place gets over weekends, this can be a slight adjustment or chore if you want to make the trip to another floor just to relieve yourself, but if you are here the first time, make that trip. it gives you the chance to plan your next visit on another floor.
all in all, a fantastic hangout and one that demands and justifies several...
Read moreI recently visited Daily Rituals with a group of friends, and we had an overall great experience. The ambience was fantastic with a cozy yet vibrant setting, perfect for a casual hangout or a relaxed meal. The greenery around the seating area added a fresh and lively vibe, and the seating options were abundant and comfortable.
As for the food, it didn’t disappoint! We ordered a variety of dishes, and almost everything was spot on. Here’s what we tried:
Sriracha Chilli American Corn: A great starter with just the right amount of crunch and spice.
Chilli Basil Fish: The fish was tender and flavorful, a must-try for seafood lovers.
Chicken Tikka: The chicken was well-marinated, juicy, and had a great smoky flavor.
Tandoori Chicken Wings with Buffalo Sauce: The wings were well-cooked with a nice tangy buffalo sauce.
Malai Murgh Tikka: This was the highlight of the meal—creamy, tender, and absolutely delicious!
Pathar Ke Gosht: The mutton was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor.
Tawa Grilled Mutton Chops: A bit of indulgence but worth it for the rich taste.
Tawa Paneer Ghee Roast Pizza: A unique twist on pizza, combining the flavors of ghee roast with paneer—very enjoyable!
Pachi Mirchi Kodi Pulao: This was spicy and packed with flavor, a definite winner for those who enjoy heat in their food.
Murgh Dum Biryani: The biryani was fragrant and well-balanced with spices, a solid choice for any biryani lover.
The Mutton Ghee Roast was another highlight—rich, flavorful, and extremely satisfying. The variety of beverages we tried, including the Strawberry Basil Cooler and some chilled beer, complemented the meal perfectly.
All in all, Daily Rituals offers a great dining experience with a variety of options to choose from. It's an excellent spot to chill with friends, and we left satisfied. The only small downside was the slightly higher price, but the quality of food and the ambience made it worthwhile. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed...
