Let me share with you the highlights of my visit.
First and foremost, the ambience of the restaurant is great. The interior design is pleasing to the eye, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.
Located in a prime spot, the restaurant is easily accessible, making it convenient for diners to find. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the area, you'll have no trouble locating this gem.
Now, let's talk about the food. I tried several dishes during my visit, and the quality was impressive. The aapam and stew combination was exceptional, and I would give it a solid 5 out of 5 rating. The flavors were authentic, and the dish was cooked to perfection.
The natukodi soup also left a positive impression, earning a rating of 4 out of 5. It had a rich and flavorful broth that was comforting and satisfying.
One dish that stood out to me was the pacchi mirchi kodi, which I would rate 4.5 out of 5. The combination of tender chicken and the spiciness of the mirchi made for a delightful culinary experience.
The gutthi vankaya, in my opinion, was the highlight of the meal. I couldn't help but give it a perfect score of 10 out of 5. The dish was bursting with flavors, and the eggplant was cooked to perfection. It was an absolute delight.
Unfortunately, not all dishes met my high expectations. The panner chilli, for instance, received a rating of 3 out of 5. While it was decent, it didn't quite stand out in terms of taste and presentation. Additionally, I found the portion size to be inadequate for the price. There were only six pieces, which seemed insufficient given the cost of 400 rupees.
On a positive note, the malbar parotya exceeded my expectations, earning a full 5 out of 5 rating. The parotya was flaky, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the accompanying condiments.
It's worth mentioning that, despite being a South Indian restaurant, it seemed like a non-South Indian individual was running the establishment. While this didn't affect the quality of the food, it was an interesting observation.
In terms of portion sizes, it's important to note that most dishes are intended for individual consumption. However, the main course curries can be shared by two people, which is a nice touch.
Overall, Aidu South Indian Kitchen and Bar offers a pleasant dining experience with its great ambience, convenient location, and delicious dishes. While there were a few minor shortcomings, the overall quality of the food made up for them. If you're looking for an authentic South Indian culinary experience, this is definitely a place worth considering. Just be mindful of the portion sizes if you're planning to share with a larger group. Definitely cost wise its on the...

Rating: ★★★★☆
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aidu Restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. From the delectable food to the attentive service, Aidu Restaurant left a lasting impression on me.
Let's start with the food. The menu boasted a wide variety of dishes from different cuisines, and it was evident that the chefs at Aidu Restaurant take great pride in their culinary skills. I opted for the Chicken Biryani, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The rice was fragrant, and the chicken was tender and well-marinated. The portion size was generous, ensuring a satisfying meal. My dining companion tried the Paneer Tikka, which was equally impressive. The paneer was soft and succulent, and the spices used in the marinade were just right. Overall, the food at Aidu Restaurant was delicious, and I would definitely recommend trying their dishes.
Moving on to the service, I must commend the staff at Aidu Restaurant for their attentiveness and promptness. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated promptly. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful suggestions when we were undecided about what to order. Our food was served in a timely manner, and our glasses were promptly refilled. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable, and for that, they deserve praise.
However, one aspect that caught my attention was the price of drinking water. It was mentioned that a bottle of drinking water is priced at 199/-. While the quality of water might be exceptional, the price seems a bit steep for a basic necessity. It would be more customer-friendly if the price was more reasonable or if they offered complimentary water as most other restaurants do.
In terms of ambiance, Aidu Restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The interior decor was tastefully done, and the seating arrangements provided a comfortable dining experience. The restaurant was well-maintained and clean, adding to the overall positive dining experience.
Overall, Aidu Restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delicious food and attentive service. Despite the slightly high price for drinking water, I would highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent cuisine. Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Aidu Restaurant is definitely...

My family and I recently dined at AIDU, intrigued by its culinary reputation. The experience was a mix of hits and misses that left us with mixed feelings. Upon arrival, the staff provided a warm welcome, and our party of six—three adults and three kids—was promptly seated and presented with the menu.
The menu at AIDU is notably limited, which initially gave us pause. However, as our dishes arrived, it was clear that what AIDU lacks in variety, it makes up for in the presentation and creativity of its cuisine. Each dish was a visual delight, showcasing an innovative culinary approach.
The taste of the food, while excellent, did not align with traditional expectations. For instance, the Railway Mutton Curry, although of superior quality, was enveloped in a North Indian-style gravy rather than the expected South Indian flavors. This fusion was a pleasant surprise, though it might not satisfy purists seeking authentic regional tastes.
A slight disappointment was the portion sizes, which felt small given the quality and the prices. The restaurant seemed to prioritize presentation and quality over quantity, which could leave those with heartier appetites wanting more.
Throughout our meal, service was prompt and attentive, almost justifying the 10% service charge added to our bill. For dessert, we followed the staff's recommendation and tried the "payasam." However, what was served was not the traditional payasam but a coconut jelly-like dessert. Despite this, the dessert was delicious and beautifully presented, ending our meal on a high note.
However, our experience ended on a slightly inconvenient note as we faced a lengthy 20-minute wait outside for the valet to bring our car. This delay slightly marred an otherwise smoothly serviced dining experience.
Overall, AIDU offers a unique dining experience with beautifully crafted dishes. However, visitors looking for authentic South Indian cuisine or more generous portions might find it lacking. Nonetheless, for those open to culinary surprises and a more artistic dining approach, AIDU is certainly...
