House of Dosas is renowned for serving authentic south indian breakfast with use of freshly procured local produce, prepared using traditional recipes to bring lip smacking and delectable dishes on their menu. The innovative quotient being an integral part of their dishes, they have managed to tickle my taste buds every time i have visited them.
The Dip Idli had soft fluffy idlis dipped in ghee, sprinkled with generous amounts of home made podi and served in a bed of coconut chutney. The Ghee Idlis were simple and delectable. The Erra Karam Dosa is my favourite here, with crispy dosa smeared with special karam podi served alongside mildly spicy bombay chutney and regular coconut chutney makes you feel home. The introduction of Pizza Dosa and Cheese Dosa is bound to attracts millennials in the city. The Tawa idly was spicy and delectable and so were ponganallus. We ended the meal with the Special Nutella Dosa which had nutella smeared inside the crispy dosa ,loaded with crushed dry fruits. . Recommendations: Dip Idli , Erra Karam Dosa, Pizza Dosa, Special Nutella Dosa . Taste:5/5 , Ambience: 5/5 , Service:5/5 , Price:4/5 , Overall 5/5 . Follow me on Instagram...

Read moreVisited House of Dosas, Banjara Hills. A Gold Dosa here costs ₹916, which felt too steep, so we tried a few other items worth ₹650.
Dip Idly (₹150): Expected ghee-dipped version (like in reels), but got a fresh idly with chutney, ghee, and podi sprinkled. Average, not worth the hype.
Tawa Idly (₹140): Crispy, hot, and flavorful — the best among what we ordered.
Udakapettina Karam Dosa (₹140): Nothing but steamed dosa, lacked the feel of dosa, chutney and karam didn’t click.
Plate Idly: Decent
Erra Karam Dosa with Bombay Chutney (₹130): Came smeared with chutney and karam on top instead of serving separately — didn’t taste good.
Overall: Portions were small, taste inconsistent, and the experience was more frustrating than enjoyable.
