Give me more than a paragraph about zouk platter which consists of prawns ,fish ,chicken wings ,chicken and their Sheekh
A Zouk Platter is a delightful culinary offering that encapsulates the vibrant flavors of Zouk cuisine, which is deeply rooted in the rich culinary traditions of the Middle East. This platter is a celebration of various proteins, bringing together an assortment of delectable ingredients that tantalize the taste buds.
The Zouk Platter typically comprises succulent prawns, flaky fish, crispy chicken wings, tender chicken pieces, and flavorful Sheekh, or skewered meat. Each element on the platter is meticulously seasoned and prepared to perfection. The prawns, often large and juicy, are usually marinated with a blend of aromatic spices, imparting a bold and zesty flavor. The fish, often a white fish variety, is delicately fried or grilled to maintain its natural taste and texture.
The star of the platter is the chicken, which is presented in two distinct forms: crispy chicken wings and tender chunks of marinated chicken. The chicken wings are usually coated in a special spice mix and deep-fried to achieve a crispy exterior, while the marinated chicken pieces are grilled or baked, ensuring that they remain juicy and infused with the flavors of Zouk cuisine. Finally, the Sheekh, often prepared with ground meat (commonly lamb or beef), is threaded onto skewers, seasoned with a symphony of spices, and grilled to perfection, resulting in a smoky, aromatic delight.
The Zouk Platter is typically served with an array of accompaniments, such as garlic sauce, hummus, fresh vegetables, and fluffy pita bread. The combination of these elements creates a harmonious and flavorful experience, allowing diners to savor the diversity and richness of Zouk cuisine in one sumptuous meal. It's a feast for both the palate and the senses, showcasing the culinary artistry and cultural richness of Middle...
Read more#Zouq, a recent entrant in lebanese/Turkish cuisine is on the busy street of Banjara Hills, beside LV Prasad Hospital. They have done a great job with their ambience to suit the cuisine and so are their stewards who dressed suitably.
Marag was our choice to start with in the soups. It had chewy mutton and marag tasted average too, so we had to return the dish in first sip.
Mezze platter which had hummus, baba ghanoush, mutabbal pita bread among others. It tasted good 😋 But the price of 750/- for that minimal platter is something that makes me rethink to order in future.
Pida was another dish we ordered, which is a type of Turkish pizza had mutton and cheese. It was decent. Turkish chicken wings (tavuk kanat) had minimal ingredients and tasted average. Whether the dish is prepared that way or it could have been better is something I couldn't comment as I never tasted this before. Shish tauk ( a popular Turkish dish) is essentially a chicken skewer of that area. Neither the yogurt nor the lemon taste hit the taste buds for me, which are the primary ingredients for the dish.
Zarab - Baked mutton rice, which comes highly recommended from the team was very well done. Both the meat and rice tasted good. Can't comment on the authenticity, but it was sure localised, given it tasted more like a touch of biryani masala in the rice. Regardless, it was delicious 😋.
Their ambience is good, their service is likewise. However, if you ask me for a suggestion for a lebanese, then I would choose Levant over this. If they can work a bit more on their food, this place has a potential to rock the...

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality from the staff, who were friendly and attentive. I recently had the pleasure of dining for the Turkish and Lebanese food at Zouk's Hotel in Hyderabad and I must say that it was an excellent culinary experience. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a cozy meal.
The menu offers a wide range of Turkish and Lebanese dishes, from classic mezze platters to hearty main courses. I started with the mezze platter, which included a variety of dips, salads, and grilled meats. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the portions were generous.
For my main course, I opted for the mixed grill, which featured an assortment of grilled meats including lamb, chicken, fish, and meat. The meat was cooked to perfection, with a delicious char on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The accompanying rice pilaf and grilled vegetables were also delicious, and made for the perfect side dishes.
To cap off the meal, I ordered the baklava for dessert. The pastry was flaky and perfectly sweet, with just the right amount of syrup. It was the perfect end to a fantastic meal.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Turkish and Lebanese restaurant at Zouk's Hotel to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Hyderabad. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch, and I can't wait to return for...
