We were waiting to go to this new place, Roast CCX in Banjara Hills for a while now; we went in once and due to the heavy rains they cancelled all reservations because all the open area patrons were moved in.

This place is in the inside lane of Road No 3 in Banjara Hills and no parking on the road but they have valet service!

The entry is off the ground floor from the valet service area and easy; there is an elevator to go to the upper floor of Roast CCX once you enter the seating area. The place is very huge, well setup with outdoor & indoor seating areas but overall I felt it was a bit congested. The kids can get lost so please be careful! Maybe it was because of too many tables but I should mention that the service was quick and superior!

The staff are well trained and polite; Monika our helper was ready to take orders and recommended their best dishes. She went a mile extra to check on the microgreens that were used to garnish on the sushi rolls. She did an excellent job on during our lunch!

The food here is extremely delectable and saporous...everything melted away in the mouth! Every dish we tried was a small flavour bomb exploding in the mouth!

We tried, Roast Jerk Chicken, Tangra Chilli Chicken, Dhoodiya Paneer Tikka and Tandoori Fish Tikka for the starters. OMG...jerk chicken was so good, juicy and well done. Tangra Chilli Chicken was little spicy for the kids. The panner tikka cubes were huge and so good. The green chutney was fresh. Tandoori Fish Tikka were gone in a minute as it came in first and we did not even take a picture...:)

We then had the California Roll(veg) and Shitake Cream Cheese Sushi. They were just ambrosial and were gone in a jiffy! There was so much freshness in all the dishes. We also has the Dal Makhni with Roti as well as the curd rice. Dal Makhni was simple and well done. Curd rice was creamy and filling.

The Thai Green Curry was heavy and we ordered in the end just to fill in any gaps left in the tummy. The basil leaves in the curry were so fragrant and we relished the entire dish.

To finish off, we ordered the Brownie Gelato, Caramel Gelato, Brownie blast drink and the Affagato. The gelatos were smooth and silky. The brownie blast was refreshing and the best of the lot was the Traditional Affagato. The coffee brew was so exhilarating and I wanted to have one more...

Monika also helped us and arranged a tour of the whole place; Triparna was such a lovely lady who walked us through the entire setup, the coffee grinder/roaster, the upper floors where they had a proper coffee brew try out sessions, trainings, a private dining area(which has to be reserved), a movie theater and a private party place for a mid sized gatherings. The best of the tour was the top 2 floors where we saw the entire kitchen process - mixing, baking, curing, ice cream making, desserts making...OMG...it was a visual feast as well as a food festival overall...haha!

This place is a must try and I recommend you all to go and please try the food here and do not forget to add your pics/review so it is...

In its essence, Roast has perfected the art of embedding itself not only within the hearts of culinary enthusiasts but also within the discerning palates of coffee aficionados. Spanning four distinctive floors, Roast CCX boasts an array of offerings: the first floor, capable of hosting over 200 guests simultaneously with both indoor and rooftop dining experiences; the second floor, a haven of luxury, housing a 35mm private theater accommodating 35 guests for on-the-go movie screenings, a banquet hall for 100 attendees and a private chamber for 15 individuals, complete with a dedicated chef providing live culinary demonstrations - a spectacle hitherto witnessed only in cinematic realms. Naineni Hanumanth meticulous planning has undoubtedly positioned Roast CCX ahead of its time.

Roast CCX stands poised to fulfill the city's, and perhaps even the nation's appetite for freshly brewed coffee, equipped with a state-of-the-art coffee roaster capable of roasting 70 kilograms of coffee in under an hour. Furthermore, it caters to job works for individuals for their coffee roasting requirements and serves as a beacon for both small-scale and large-scale cafes, providing customized roasting services for both Arabica and Robusta coffee beans - a pioneering endeavor in its own right. Additionally, Roast CCX houses a cutting-edge water jet cake cutter and designer, an industrial oven capable of baking over 500 croissants simultaneously, and a croissant machine capable of meticulously crafting layers from sheets of dough as thin as 1 millimeter. While my visit wasn't intended as an industrial excursion, Roast CCX undeniably epitomizes the epitome of cafes, encompassing every facet of culinary excellence within the heart of the city. A dedicated two-day workshop conducted weekly to train baristas stands as a commendable initiative, ensuring the city boasts a cadre of skilled professionals adept at the intricate art of brewing lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, espressos, and an array of other delicacies. While some offerings such as the Hunan sauce-filled rice left an indelible mark as a true delicacy, others like the coffee shots and veggie sushis failed to captivate my discerning palate. However, the biscoff boba, cucumber chili-spiced drink, roasted broccoli, jaituni paneer, water chestnuts seasoned generously with salt and pepper, banana-nutella waffle, vanilla-laced sour cream waffle, pistachio cooler, and biscoff latte transcended the realm of mere...

Well, I would say it’s a wonderful place to hang out with friends and family as it’s huge and can accommodate easily 300+ people seated at once indoor and outdoor.

As we enter the staff gesture is quite pleasing, we preferred to be seated indoors as it was quite hot outside.

So there is the large display counter which has all the baked croissants 🥐 pastries 🍰 chocolate 🍫 muffins cupcakes 🧁 etc

Well invested coffee machines all top branded for their vast coffee choices. The ambience was extraordinary because it indoors and outdoors.

We settled at our table to place the order, well there was a scan QR for the menu options.

We ordered

Croissants 🥐 plain and chocolate. I would rate it 7/10. Ghee roast chicken sandwich. I would rate it 10/10. French toast. Top notch, I would rate it 10/10. Hot chocolate with marshmallows. I would rate this 7/10. Kerala prawns. Sorry it was terrible 1/10, the problem..it was over spiced with fennel seasoning. Hot latte. Sadly it was not hot and I would rate 5/10. Lotus biscoff cold brew. Fabulous 10/10. Chocolate gelato 8/10. Chicken sandwich (takeaway) 7/10.

While my wife’s first choice in coffee was ‘Caramel Macchiato’ surprisingly it wasn’t there in the menu, however my wife walked upto the counter and asked if they can make one for which they obliged. It’s been an hour now..it’s still not served and we had been constantly asking the service staff about it and they were like 5 mins which never clocked. We ran out of patience and my wife again had to go and check at the counter and to her surprise they said no we do not serve it as it’s not in our menu. If so then why was it accepted in the first place and the manager was busy scrolling his phone when the concern is being shared, now that’s being rude.

As they realised it was a goof up, they somehow managed to get the coffee we asked for and by then it was 90mins and we had order hot latte..sadly even that was not upto the mark.

So I believe this is a premium coffee place? Am I missing something out here..yes a good coffee for sure.

Apart from that one experience, everything else was fine.

On the pricing, yes it’s on a higher end but I don’t mind if the coffee and food served it worth it.

I hope the management works on the quality and consistency to make sure the brand value stays.

Service team ~ good job!

Parking is a problem, however well managed by...

Parking is a problem, however well managed by the valet team.
