Ironhill Cafe Madhapur — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Hello , Planning to visit this place and wondering, how the place looks ? what’s are the best dishes ? Is it worth visiting ? Keep reading and you’ll find your answers. So firstly talking about the ambience of this cafe . As you enter inside there is a huge outdoor seating area with antique table chair sets and concrete-seating , seating under a grass hut then there is a big blue door leads you to the inside of the cafe . So basically, inside there is a very limited space . So I would suggest to have your time outdoor if you are visiting in the evening . Very spacious with greenery . Good place to spend time with friends, kids , family . This cafe serves all kinds of appetisers, American breakfast throughout the day and also main meals.

Let’s dive into food now . Omlettes - 1)Chicken enchilada- egg beaten and made into omelette. Rolled and topped with chicken and cheese strips . Served with roasted bread slices and potato patties . Tasted yumm 2) Mama mia- similar to the above dish , but the taste was a bit different. Had finely chopped greens. 3) Eggostic Chicken fajita- similar to the above dish , tasted more creamy .

PAN CAKE -

1. Hola Nutella- super soft pancakes , topped with generous amount of Nutella , maple syrup and whipped cream , nuts , powdered sugar. Tasted scrumptious.
2. Torpedo- this was a bit similar to the above dish but tasted like the classic plain pancakes with maple syrup .

WAFFLE -

1. Chocolate City- crispy on the out side and soft on the inside , waffles were really yumm. The plain classic waffles , drizzled with generous amount of chocolate syrup and topped with nuts and powdered sugar .
2. Earth Wind & Fire- these waffles were more like fruit waffles ,topped with freshly and finely chopped apple pieces .

PASTA -

1. Mac n Cheese- this one is really awesome . Super duper creamy had good amount of cheese on the pasta. Have it when it’s piping hot. Both NV and veg taste amazing .
2. Penne Creamy Pesto N.V- superb looking pasta . Both NV and veg tasted nice .

BURGER -

1. Dennis Burger- mashed veg Pattie sandwiches in between the buns along with sliced tomatoes, onions, cheese and Mayo.

STARTER (VEG) -

1. Three ways of Brocolli- these are the normal broccoli pakoda . It was mixed with 3 kinds of sauces after dipped in batter and cooked . Best dish if you are looking for a healthy choice .
2. Corn Cheese Shots- show stopper , extreme creamy and had a great tasting cheese and corn inside. MUST TRY

STARTER (N.V) -

1. Fenugreek Chilli Prawns- MUST TRY plating of this dish was really appetising . The prawns are quite flavourful.
2. Tawa podi Fish- one more MUST TRY fish marinated in spices and flavoursome batter mixed with special powder.

MAIN COURSE -

1. Pacific Olive Pepper Fish- MUST TRY. Just go for it if you’re looking for a satisfying meal . Extremely soft fish , with herbed rice and a gravy , tasted bit like the Thai coconut curry .
2. Chef Daminas D'Silva Chicken Rice- following the same concept of the above dish but with chicken bars and spicy gravy along with herb rice . 3)Spanish Rice with Chipotle Paneer- this one was also same as the above dishes but with a change in the rice , and the paneer had chipotles so a bit spicy.

Beverage - Ironhill cafe is specialised in making coffee so you may try exploring any of the below coffee if you are a coffee enthusiast .

When we talk about cafes, typical Hyderabadi mindset starts scanning Jubilee Hills, Banjara hills areas as we understand its for elite crowd but Madhapur and Hitex have been deprived of a good option for cafe setup for a long time where we can unwind, relax and sip in a cup of good brewed coffee. Well looks like this is answered now in the form of the new debutant Iron Hill Cafe which has opened up in the lane beside pride Honda showroom, Madhapur. One step into the place, I was just a happy kid. Such an open setup with spacious huts and seating arrangements and you don't have anything like this in the vicinity. As we settled down in this breezy setup , the glance at menu was even more promising in the categories and mainly pricing. Also having a cute typical cafe setup with interior seating, they brew 4-5 varieties in 4 different techniques and yes they do have "KOPI LUWAK" , the first cafe to have it in Hyderabad and imported from Bali. They also do in-house brewing which makes the coffee quality promising. They use 4 classic techniques - pour over, chemex, aero press and French press and we even were excited to see the live demo of all 4 processes. Coffee lovers, do visit here for sure

A recent visit to Ironhill Cafe at Madhapur came out to be very special -combined effect of ambiance and food. The rustic interiors combined with a beautiful outdoor setting in an open lawn makes it a perfect setting for having a perfect lunch /dinner .This place also serves good breakfast so morning peeps who want a peaceful start of the day and come here and have a nice time. We started with this food and beverages.

1.Omlette Being breakfast place we wanted to try their omellete and came out to be cheesy and creamy

2.Chicken Enchiladas Liked it and it had shredded chicken .The Enchiladas were perfectly done .

3.Mama Mia This was also an omellete based dish loadeds with mushrooms. 4.Three ways Broccoli The Broccoli fried with cheese was good enough but nothing very special

5.Fengruik Chili Prawns One of the starter that came out to be so perfect.Nicely cooked and smeared and had the cerispyness and had right amount of spice .

5.Tawa Podi Fish This tasted like something of Telengana origin in taste wise and was nice.

6.Denis Burger Loved their bread and the stuffed veggies.It was soft ,juicy and can be easily paiered up with their coffee. 7.Waffels

Mac N Cheese The Mac N cheese was also good with right amount of cheese and loved the garlic bread that was served with.But it needs some zing factor. Pacific Olive The Penne pasta with chicken pieces and pesto sauce was nicely done.Lovee their sauce which had the right balance of Flavors.

Spanish Rice with Chipotle Paneer It more less tasted like a South Indian dish with lot of flavors from this part of the country .It was average.

Thai Rice with Fish This was one of the best where the Thai curry was perfectly done,not too much coconut and the fish was also perfectly grilled.I will visit this place once more for trying out this .

In beverages we tried this following things :

1.Affogado Coffee served with ice cream.Its more like a dessert.

2.Brownie Shake -This was a thick shake with crushed brownie and tasted nice .

All their thicshakes are not milkshakes unlike other places ,has the texture of thicshakes and this place being famous for their coffee ,coffee flavoured thicshakes should be tried.

The Coffee those were served were nicely garnished and had distinct flavours.One of the special mention goes to Coffee Karamana .They have different kinds of beans therefore for coffee lovers this could be one of the place to try out good coffee also.
