I recently visited Italian FreshCut with a friend, hoping to indulge in some delicious Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that things had taken a turn for the worse under the new ownership of Pittala Mahesh.
Upon seating ourselves at a table with two chairs, we were abruptly reprimanded by the owner himself. Mahesh insisted that we sit opposite each other instead of next to each other, citing the need to save space. However, his explanation made little sense, considering that the same two chairs were placed across the table, occupying the same amount of space. When we tried to reason with him, his response was shockingly disrespectful and abusive, reminding us that it was his restaurant and we had no choice but to comply.
During one visit, a colleague of mine ordered a sandwich from the menu. To our horror, as the worker was preparing the sandwich, it slipped from their hands and fell onto the unclean floor. Instead of taking the appropriate action, such as discarding the contaminated sandwich and preparing a fresh one, the worker astonishingly picked up the fallen sandwich and proceeded to pack it as if nothing had happened.
Naturally, we immediately approached the owner, Pittala Naresh, who had previously set a high standard for cleanliness and customer service. We expected him to address the issue seriously and rectify the situation. To our disbelief, Naresh flatly denied the incident and accused my colleague of having vision problems. He shamelessly defended his workers, claiming they were impeccably trained and would never engage in such unsanitary practices.
It pains me to say this, but Italian FreshCut was once a gem in the dining scene when Pittala Naresh, Mahesh's bald (really objective but the only way to distinguish)brother, was in charge. Naresh ensured the place was kept impeccably clean, the food was prepared with minimal oil, and the portions were generous. Moreover, he treated his customers with warmth and accommodation, making dining there a delightful experience (as of 2021).
However, ever since Mahesh took over around the end of 2021, the decline has been palpable. The once exceptional taste has been diminished, leaving behind a mere shadow of its former glory. The food now lacks the health-conscious approach and compromises have been made in portion sizes. As paying customers, we deserve respect, a pleasant ambiance, and uncompromising hygiene standards.
I am writing this review to shed light on the disappointing transformation that Italian FreshCut has undergone. Potential patrons need to be aware that the "really good" taste they may have heard of was, in fact, much better in the past. If you value your hard-earned money and expect a dining experience that encompasses respect, ambiance, and hygiene, I strongly advise looking elsewhere for your...

Stumbled upon this spot after a casual shopping spree at Lifestyle, and it turned out to be a surprisingly delightful discovery. What instantly stood out were the pocket-friendly prices and generous portions — a rare combo in the city these days. Whether you're a college student, a casual diner, or just someone looking to unwind without spending a fortune, this place ticks all the right boxes.
The open-air seating and laid-back atmosphere make it a perfect hangout spot for friends. Tucked away in a calm and quieter area, it offers a nice escape from the usual noise and crowds. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, chat for hours, and enjoy some soul-satisfying comfort food.
The menu is impressively vast — think sandwiches, hotdogs, pasta, garlic bread, milkshakes, and fresh juices. Each item is reasonably priced, making it very accessible for the everyday foodie. The variety is a strong point here, with plenty of options whether you're in the mood for a cheesy indulgence or a light snack.
That said, as a regular visitor, there’s one aspect that can’t be overlooked: hygiene consistency. While the place does make an effort to maintain cleanliness on the surface, there have been visible lapses in kitchen practices, especially by the staff and chefs during busy hours. It's something that definitely needs attention from the management — especially as the place gains popularity. With just a little more oversight, they could ensure that the quality of service matches the promise of their food.
In short, this spot is a fantastic value-for-money destination with great food, a chill vibe, and serious potential. All it needs is a bit more attention to kitchen discipline to truly become a go-to place for food lovers...
