Jasper - Grill and Bar — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Being to the valentine party at Jasper. Booked for a buffet and it turned out to be the worst ever experience.

Booked our seats in advance and they collected the charges at the doorstep even before entering the venue- 7000 (6000+tax) for 2.

No buffet was arranged and it was table service and we can order anything in the menu. But the menu had cocktails, 1 option for soup, 3 options for starters, rotti, two options for main dish curry and biriyani. (Each for Veg and non veg)

We ordered all options in non veg starters, and to our surprise, received single piece each item. When we ordered repeat, it took more than 30 minutes for the service.

After suffering for 2 hours, complained with the manager and then service became a little faster.

But again, only option for the main dish was chicken biriyani which was very salty and tasted bad.

We visited many premium hotels and restaurants across India and never ever experienced something like this, which cannot be expected even from a normal restaurant.

Altogether...

Open air rooftop sports bar setup. I stayed at the Le Meridien and was craving Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani after the long flight. Tried Jasper at the hotel immediately after checking in. I ordered just the biryani. The mutton pieces were succulent and juicy, and the rice was spiced just perfect (slightly on the the hotter side which is what you come to expect when ordering Hyderabadi food). The serving size is good for 2 but I finished it alone. Didn’t have space to order anything else. The complementary roasted papads with 3 different dips were nice. This place, located in Le Meridian in Gachibowli is a must try if you like romantic dinners, candle light dinners, rooftop dinners, by-the-pool dinners or just to have a couple of drinks with your buddies...one of those places which covers almost everything. The food is totally yummy, the service is top-notch, and the ambience is to die for. Located on the 12th floor by the swimming pool, this needs to be your go-to place be it a lazy Sunday Brunch or a date spot with your partner.
