It took me 1 entire day to understand how you could repeat your inferior service even after giving one more chance.
We stayed with Radisson for 2 nights and the service was horrible. I would like to list down what all went wrong so that you can at least not make other traveler's life miserable.
We were not given the complimentary drinks and the chocolates which was included in our reservation upon arrival. This came when we ourselves noticed in our reservation while checking out. Ain't that amazing? We had to wait in our room for 40 min more before checking out to get that service. Wow! We called for technician to come up and set up WiFi in our laptop as we could not set it rightly. Well, we called at around 2 PM and the technician came around 6 PM. Had it been any emergency meeting or something - I would have to either miss it or get stinker from my employer for staying and trying to work from such a backdated and unsettled facility. We discovered on that the refrigerator is not working at all and our food was stinking from inside. We called for technician again around 2 PM, well people came around 5:30 PM. He came, did something and said that the fridge is doing fine. Great.! We left out after this incident. Next day morning we figured that the fridge is no good and no food/beverage is cold. Its in fact hot. We called for someone to change the fridge only. Technician came after 3-4 hours and changed the fridge, but the new fridge also had no cooling. We threw our food outside as anyway it got rotten. Every day we called for cutlery and water bottles - nothing came before 3-4 follow up calls and a wait time of minimum an hour. On the day of check out, we called for someone to carry the luggage and I again had to call 4 times to have someone at my door.
After all this nuisance, Radisson offered us 2 complimentary lunch. Good enough I thought and got high hopes on them again. I went with 2 of my friends and paid for 1 person's lunch buffet. Following is the experience down there -
Lunch spread was good so as the food quality so I was hoping they might not always ruin their service. One of my friend called for a lemon, he was waiting for 15 good minutes without touching the food and we were like are you producing lemons? We called someone again and they said "We will try getting it right now". Again 10 mins wait, and someone reports "Sorry, our seller that sends lemon is out of stock today". We are like thanks, we will have lemon from you in next life. We ordered for 2 coffee - 1 strong, 1 normal/ mild. The person who took the order clearly repeated twice that 1 strong and 1 normal. We asked for coffee at 3 PM exact (by this time I thought I will make and excel sheet with the times they actually serve) and coffee came after 2 follow up at 3:38 PM. Be happy.! That is not it. Both the coffees were strong - horrible and sick sense of serving/remembering/cooking or what I do not know. We could not say anything as anything extra we ask will take 15 more mins and we don't have entire life to waste on Radisson.
So, yes that is how embarrassing it is to take your friends/ colleagues there as you will get blame for no reason. You can enjoy whatever is on the table or in front of your eyes but don't you dare ask for anything more. Not even a mineral water bottle. I feel I need to be in my retirement to avail Radisson's service or else I really can't afford your wait time guys. I really don't want to step into your hotel/restaurant ever again in my life. So just a request, please don't make the stay of other people horrible as well. You claim yourself a 5-star, well you are not. You stay in an illusion that you are 5-star. I can take you to places to show how a 5-star work. I paid 20k for 2 nights to get absolutely nothing. Do not call us or try to poach us with any of your new coupon/ voucher as nothing will work. God bless you.! Hope you rise up to a good...
Read moreIts shocking to know that Radisson does not document any conversations done with customers during booking enquiries. If you are checking about any inclusions or packages to stay , then record the conversations. Because few things which are committed/confirmation during the enquiry are denied when you check in. The front desk upfront denies it on your face and tell that it's a miscommunication and they will tell there is no record of customer calling and enquiring.
Be careful and record all calls if you are visiting Radisson so that you have proof if they deny any facilities which are confirmed during enquiry.
It was disappointment to experience the staff not probing and providing alternate options. The front desk has to learn to be more empathetic, more customer centric and innovative.
Editing this and adding another blunder - the smartlock stopped working and I had to wait around 45 minutes until the battery's were replaced in smartlock and then I was able to get into the room.
The story during check out - just like the first instance, during check out they forgot to add additional occupancy charges because it was not documented or updated in the system. Post swiping the card they realised it and asked me to swipe the additional charges. Swiping twice is not a pain but the pain was when I asked for consolidated bill. It took 4 front desk staff to figure out how to generate consolidated bill after adding additional occupant and still they could not figure out after 20 minutes and they told it would take more time and it will shared over an email in next 30 mins. Obviously it's 30 mins past and I have still not received the bill. If I have to follow up on getting the invoice, I will update this review and mention the efforts
Update on the invoice issue - As expected, I did not receive the invoice in 30 mins and post 4 hours I called the front desk and duty manager answered by call. Surprising fact is she is asking my name, email, mobile number to send the invoice where as I have shared my ID and all other details are already available with them. She sent me the invoice instantly but it was incorrect (which was issued at time of checkout). She again asked EOD to share the consolidated invoice.
During the check out front desk told me that details are already shared with duty manager and I would get the invoice in 30 mins but looks like they just fooled and did not share anything with duty manager. As usual false...
Read moreHands down, One of the terrible hotels I've ever been to.
I booked this hotel for 3 days but I checked out a day before.
The ordeal started from the front desk itself. There is no one to help us with our luggage. Once the check in formalities are done then they shamelessly asked us to go the given room.
After entering the room I was totally disappointed, the TV remote was broken, the sitting chair was old and in dilapidated condition. Washroom was stinking and there were stains all over the washroom and mirror.
When I informed the front desk about it they sent a staff member to check and after a thorough inspection he gave his feedback to the supervisor, then the supervisor called me to inform that they cannot change the room immediately as there were no rooms available but agreed to change the room the next morning, to which I did not agree. I asked the supervisor to either change the room and refund the money so that I could look for other options near by. Then she simply hung up on me.
I went to the front desk to confront them about the room, they gave me a business class room as a complimentary upgrade. As I didn't want to ruin my holiday I accepted their offer (BTW the only difference between a normal room and business class is just a couch). The washrooms are stinky here as well.
There are many 2 & 3 star hotels which provide excellent service compared to this hotel. I made a booking for 2 adults and they have given one toothbrush and one soap. Seriously.
The AC didn't work and there is no fan in the room.
I have not seen even a single staff member wearing a mask.
The breakfast buffet is a joke, you can see all the staff members going helter-skelter but you don't find anyone refilling the food. Forget about food you don't even find plates and cups. You need to wait for 15-20 minutes then they come and give you one plate or cup.
If you go for an inhouse dining you will end up paying more money for the same tasteless food. I ordered chicken biryani twice, it was fine when I ordered the first time but the second time they served rotten food and it was the last straw. I checked out of the hotel.
Radisson: Your hotel staff is completely oblivious to customer service, either train them or replace them.
I will neither stay in this hotel nor...
