An amazing dining experience! Recently we visited this beautiful cafe for a second time . The first time we visited here, it was on a Saturday for lunch. It took us a good 20 mins to half hour to get a table. But the waiters were kind enough to let us order before we got a table. We ordered a couple of beverages like iced tea, a couple of starters( chicken wings and jalapeño poppers). These were decent and nothing out of the ordinary. For mains, we ordered a veg lover's burger, pork ribs, Stuffed chicken and a chicken sandwich. It was great to see that the veg burger was actually very tasty. I always feel bad to see vegetarians not having many good options, but this one is worth recommending to the vegetarians. The pork ribs were not as good as I would have liked it to be; have definitely had better. But that's not to say these dishes were bad. Now to talk about the ambience, it gives you a feel of being in a Middle Eastern country. The architecture and decor are amazing. You could easily pass this off as a foreign locale in your instagram posts.
The second time , we visited this place at night. We got a table without any waiting this time and got seated inside on the top floor. The view, right from the time we approach the cafe from the road is breathtaking...with its many beautiful lights in the right places. Interior lighting is a little dim for my liking , but still pretty cool. If you have good phone camera capable of low light photography, you can get some amazing pictures taken here. This time , we ordered, a tuna sandwich, chicken n bacon burger and a veg lovers burger. I loved the tuna sandwich and the chicken n bacon burger. Very tasty, filling and comes with french fries and guy dips on the side.
After two visits here , i can definitely say this is one of my favorite spots...
Read moreCame in here for late lunch on a Saturday. What was immediately alluring about here, is the generous amounts of spaciousness. The location, accessible easy car parking with valet (though you may not need it unless the parking lot gets full), the luxurious welcome arch and gateway which in particular makes you feel like you're transported to a different world are really good. On entering you will definitely like the variety of seating arrangements, whether be it the open area with shades, a cafe like area and then the more traditional restaurant setup on the first floor. The quality of ambience is top notch and this is really what you should come to experience when here. Come here prepared to spend more than an hour, eat at a leisurely pace, bring a book to read, etc.
Now let's about the meal experience in itself. We had chicken wings, pita bread with hummus for appetizers followed by pesto cream pasta and tofu broccoli rice Chinese Bowl. The food is more or less 4 stars for their taste, presentation and portions. The food is meant to be enjoyed a bit bland as the taste is subtle. Portions were good for 2. The wait staff were friendly though they seemed a bit understaffed even to support a modest crowd.
Our meal worked out to 1000INR per person, so you know you really paid for the ambience (which is why you should come here prepared for the experience and not the food by itself). 5 stars since I pretty much expected a very friendly ambience for a date with my loved one, and then...
Read moreThis review is after multiple visits and I must say am in love with this place. The ambience is one thing to be talked about, it takes you aback. The best time to visit this place is in the evenings, specially if you wanna sit outdoors or in the ground floor. The top floor has AC. Service is prompt but the parking guy almost always pisses us.
Cold coffees are divine here. Even the simplest cappucino cold coffee tastes great each time. Have tried Irish coffee here recently and it's way too strong.
Ordered multiple dishes from the interesting menu. Everything is done right.
Crispy peri peri chicken wings - this one is definetly different from the regular wings u have. First the wings are bilobed (read 2 parts) sprinkled with oodles of spices. And special mention to the spicy chilly sauce that comes along.
Alfredo pasta - perfect creaminess, balance of flavours. Loved the garlic bread that came along.
Chicken pop corn - quantity was good when compared to peers. It was definetly good but i could still sense the out of the packet wala feeling.
Pulled barbeque chicken sandwich- with boneless barbeque chicken stuffed with lettuce and mayo between bread, tasted so good. A decent variation from the regular sandwiches. Fries given along were crisp and yummm.
Fish and chips was good too. There was this pea mash which added a element to the dish. With mayo, it tasted better.
Every time I dine here is a special one because of the food and ambience. Many more...
