I wonder why it become so famous, I think it is bcz of the verity of ambience, and complete verity in taste of biryani,
But let me tell you what I felt when I visited this place and about the taste and quality of biryani.
Food is first, if it is top quality we can forget about rest. So we ordered a Donne Chicken Biryani, first of all this is not a biryani, it is kind of kichidi flavour and it's an instant kichidi,
They cook rice and chicken instantly for every order by putting them in a banana leaf, when there is a huge demand they are not cooking it properly, the rice itself is broken into pieces you will not find a single full length rice piece at all and it's not even basmathi rice, they can say that we use only (nookalu) for quick cooking but the real reason is broken rice is cheap.
So if you want to try a Nookalu kichidi (broken rice kichidi) with 75% cooked chicken this is the best place.
Let me tell you the genius cost cutting techniques used in this entire restaurant..
First of all you will not find any server, waiter, or cleaning guy, (no need of staff) you need to bring serve your own food from counter,
you will not have any plates, and you will not find any glasses or jugs on table (no need of washing staff), they simply give you a 1 ltr water bottle you may 4 or 5 people you have to share the same water bottle and have to drink only using that one, no glasses.
Coming Raitha, this is the thinnest Raitha I've ever seen in any restaurant, it's 95% of water and 5 percent of curd extract.
You will not have any salt or pepper on table to add to your Raitha,
Irrespective of prices Onions will not be provided here.
Positive thing about taste is they have a strong flavour of biryani, but it can not be cooked properly as they are cooking every biryani individually, and the quality is cheap in every aspect of this restaurant.
I suggest you to try it only once. I tell you to order it instead of visiting the place bcz when you order it, it will take some time to deliver so the rice could some more time in the parcel bcz of the heat it contains,
People who wants to try diff can also visit this place... People who prefer quality over...
Read moreToday I ordered Donne Chicken Biryani. What has attracted me Was its name Which resembles country side. lt Was a take aWay. Ambience Was cool. I liked its bamboo chairs and lantern lamp textures. U get a feel as if u stepped in a village. But it Was small place. About service, Waiting time for take aWay order Was too much. l hope this Was not the case for dine in. Menu Was limited. Only 2 biryanis and 2 starters. NoW coming to biryani, taste Was amazing. l never tasted this kind of amazing biryani in Hyderabad and not typical Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. lt Was not even typical Andhra pulav. l think this Donne Biryani is famous in Bangalore. May be Karnataka dish, Which l'm not sure of. The boiled chicken pieces enhanced the taste of medium spicy biryani rice. Number of chicken pieces is too good. l very much liked biryani taste. l strongly recommend this place. Step in to have a neW taste and best taste of Biryani. l'm looking forWard to...
Read moreSeriously?! What are there 5 stars ratings and good reviews for? Pathetic people can't even judge the taste of biryanis. Ordered the Donne mutton biryani from here. First of all the mutton pieces hardly had any meat on it, just the bones only and the taste was really really bad, would not recommend this place to any authentic biryani lovers. From what I read before ordering the food I read that "Donne" in the local language means large cups made with dried palm leaves. The steaming hot biryani is served in these Donnes and hence the name of the biryani. The biryani is also not made in layers nor cooked in dum unlike the authentic biryani nor with basmati rice instead jeera rice is used(Mentioning for people ordering it online since one the menu it's written that it is made from...
