Although most people come to Hyderabad and enjoy the famous hyderabadi Biriyani but no offense there something more special than that (personal opinion). It is "Mandi". A famous arabian dish. If you are in hyderabad and want to try chicken/mutton/fish mandi then this is the place for you. Mataam Al Yamani is really a great place to have Mandi. The best part is that this place has separate family section so you can come with friends as well as family and enjoy the dish as per your convenience. Price is justified for the quantity and the taste that they offer. Staffs are extremely professional and service is great. The food is prepared and served in a hygienic environment. Tried the Chicken Mandi it was an above average experience. The rice was flavorful but not exactly what mandi rice should be. The chicken was hard and not juicy at all. Dakoos or the tomato chutney had artificial color and had full garlic cloves in it and instead of curd Mayonnaise was given with it.. So after having Mandi, Madbi and Madfoon in UAE there is no comparison. The taste however was good, the staff and service was good. The food was nominally priced @INR 200.
