Mohini's Restaurant is popular with the local population. As it is situated right on the main road of Basheerbagh which has a lots of business establishments, offices and other merchants, this restaurant has earned a place in these people's hearts for meeting their daily lunch needs.

Speciality includes Haleem, Biryani and some other North Indian fare. Food connoisseurs I know swear by its Mutton Biryani and Haleem!

The food is priced pretty moderately considering the costly location it is situated in. Any tax chargeable is already included in the food price. So when you get the bill, you will notice the break up of the food cost and the tax they charge! One finds that the food you ordered from the menu actually costs a little lower after you discount the tax amount!

Overall a good place to go and have tasty food, if you aren't big...

Mutton biriyani - Must try 3.6 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ /5

I recently had the chance to try the tender mutton biryani, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. The mutton was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. It practically melted in my mouth, which is always a sign of great slow-cooked meat. The rice was fluffy and well-cooked, with a nice balance of spices that complemented the mutton without overwhelming it.

I tried the mutton keema, and it was a mixed experience. The keema was cooked well, with the meat being tender and finely minced. The seasoning was decent, with a good blend of spices, but it didn’t stand out as much as I’d hoped. There was a nice balance of heat, though the dish could have used a bit more depth in flavor...

I came to know about this place from online reviews 🙂, so decided to try this place. It is right next to another vegetarian restaurant and just before the turning. Two seating options on ground floor and upstairs.

Ordered mutton biryani, but I seemed to have crashed the place a bit early as very few people were there. The biryani was quite delicious 😋 to my surprise with tasty gravy and buttermilk. The quantity was good and I had to get it packed to finish the rest.

Definitely worth a try if you want to saviour some good biryani 👍. Just posting this now, but it's been a few weeks since...
