Nanking CR — Restaurant in Hyderabad

If there was one restaurant which had been maintaining the taste and quality of the food served, I always counted Nanking as one of it. However, I have to change my opinion after my recent visit to Nanking C.R, in Banjara hills. I would like to list out what went wrong with my recent visit. The person who took the order was terribly impatient. He was pretty careless with his approach. Me and my friends were asking his opinion on a certain starter and due to his inept and poor listening skills he brought us a dish which was contrary to what we ordered We ordered Special Mixed soft noodles and Soft Noodles and the quality of the noodles was terrible. The noodles were chewy and they definitely seemed that they were not boiled properly. They seemed to be fused which is a clear sign of improper boiling or poor noodle quality. This dish happened to be our all time favorite here and they turned it into an absolute disaster. We reported to the person who was in charge and he himself confirmed that they received many feedbacks about the noodle quality today. This we appreciate as he at least accepted. And he asked us if we want to order anything else in the place of Special Mixed Soft Noodles and we ordered Egg noodles, which was not that great at all. The most hideous part was that we were charged for the dish which was actually below their quality standards and they only agreed to deduct the amount from the bill when we made our point clear to them.

Overall the experience was terrible one and I seriously hope Nanking improve their quality of the food they serve. After all those who visit pay for what we have been served and don't bargain for discounts for the restaurant to take customers for granted and serve whatever they want.

Unexpectedly Nanking banjarahills in lumbini mall turned out to be a disaster.

Our team was working on a project in the same building ground floor and just one day away from the launch of our project..we had a long day getting things in place and everyone from managers to the staff were looking like Mason workers(covered in dust and exhausted) by the end of the day (worked more than 16hours) and after all the toil we decided to go to Nanking for dinner situated just one floor above us.

While we managed to freshen up ,we weren't looking our best..a total team of 7 people enter the restaurant and start placing the order and we see this really unpleasant treatment from the staff and the managers...they probably assumed we were some labour workers who entered their posh restaurant and the manager in a very rude manner takes our orders and in the same way our food is served...!!

This was really disappointing on how the management treated us based on our looks and on top of that I forget my charger on the table and leave the restaurant and I realized about and come back to the restaurant within a minute and it's gone and the management mentioned that they didn't see it..!!we could have argued and fought about it but since we were all exhausted we really couldn't say anything and walked out..!!

This was the extreme level of disappointment from a restaurant to which I have been loyal for almost 20years!!

While the food was great as always the treatment and the way things turned out was really...

In short: Cheap. Decent taste. Decent decor. Quick service. Service quality could get better. More than value for money. Any dish you order will easily serve two people.

I've been to Nanking few times in the recent past. Overall experience have been good.

The first thing that strikes you is the cheap price. The prices are somewhere between 'inexpensive' to 'moderate'. A dish which cost between Rs 100-200 can easily be shared by 2-3 persons. Don't get tempted to order a full fried rice for one. I bet you can't finish it. Today, three of us went to this restaurant and the total bill was around Rs 700 including soup, starter, soft drink and fried rice.

The taste is not judged by the price. May be it can't be compared to the expensive Chinese restaurants, but it is definitely good enough for your taste buds.

The service was quick. Decor is decent. You can't expect more for the price you pay.

Finally, this restaurant is definitely more than the value for money. If you want to eat out casually, with family and friends, this place is definitely...
