I’ve always been a person who loves trying different cuisines. So recently, while I was on a short trip to Hyderabad, I wanted to explore some unique different types of restaurants/cafes in terms of ambience, food and hygiene as well. Then I came across Pav Mantra.
If i had to summarise my whole experience and taste buds in one word, it would be “delectable”. On the basis of food, ambience and hygiene, I would rate it a hard 💯
Here’s why I suggest you to visit:
✅ Firstly, the best part about the food was the in-house pav which was very soft to eat. These in-house pavs were the highlight I would say. ✅ The menu! If you love authentic Maharashtra food and are a big fan of vada pav, pav bhaji or dabeli. This is your go-to place in Hyderabad. ✅ Customised cheese vada pav. When I first took the bite, I was stunned because the Vada had cheese filling inside the patty along with the grated cheese outside, which made it more mouth watering. That’s right, the recipe for all their dishes in the menu are in-house which makes it more interesting. ✅ With an open kitchen and comfy seating area, you can enjoy your food. 🍰 Cherry on the topping, their mango mastani and toasties were pretty new for me but something which would make me go again and again to pav mantra if I had a chance.
I basically went there to have vada pav but ended up enjoying all the authentic Maharashtra dishes in Hyderabad. If you want to know more and give your taste buds a treat, then you should definitely visit this place and try all that you can.
Kudos to the owners of Pav Mantra who are very friendly and are ensuring people away from Maharashtra can enjoy their signature dishes while in Hyderabad. Can’t wait for my next trip to Hyderabad, with Pav Mantra being my top reason in...
Read moreI'm a proud mumbaikar and a banker, I had all the famous Wadapaw in Mumbai and surrounding areas. When I shifted to Hyderabad for some office work.. I was missing the real Mumbai style Wadapaw. I tried quite a few but most of the Hawkers and food carts offered something lookalike WADAPAW, but no one was able to satisfy the craving of eating REAL MUMBAI WADAPAW. I keep travelling for clients meetings in Hyderabad also but it took me 3 months to find the food of choice. Finally on Sunday evening we decided to have something satisfying. My cousin and I googled and found this option... We walked 2 almost 2 kms and when we ordered 2 wadapaw .. We didn't have very high expectations, obviously reference to our past experience about WADAPAW in Hyderabad. But I must share with you, the taste was Original Mumbai Wadapaw. I was very much satisfied with the taste and quantity of the food.
If you are from Mumbai or Pune and missing the food of choice like Jhunjhanit Misaal like Mamledar in thane or Paw Bhaji like Boriwali Khau gulli or Ghatkoper Khaugulli come to this place.
For your more understanding, I can elaborate the teast
But 7) Paw Mantra is 10/9.25 because apart from teast it has very good ambience and vibes. Also car or bike parking place is easily available.
It's not a paid review, but I expressed it with the happy service. Owner is from Pune, I suggest him pls work on price and...
Read moreThe city of Hyderabad offers a wide variety of authentic cuisines like no other city in the country. Still, there are very few Maharashtrian food joints in the town, and Pav mantra fills that void. I would recommend this tiny joint to those who love Maharashtrian food and anyone who lookout for something new and authentic. Their menu is designed around Pav (bread), which they bake in-house. Just to enjoy the freshness of the Pav, I ordered their plain Pav and cheese, which is very delicious. The Pav Bhaji is good and Vada in Vada pav is crispy and very tasty. I have tried Dabeli for the first time, and If I must pick only one of the items on their menu, I will go for amazingly delicious Dabeli. It is very well done, and the pomegranate seeds add to the juicy and crispness of the item, making this one a must-try. My niece loved Mango mastani which is bit sweet to my appetite. The ambience is neat and simple. The kitchen is visible and that makes me very comfortable regarding the hygiene as the chefs looked neat and following proper hygiene.
I think the owner who seems to be very young is behind the cash counter and his passion is evident and quite impressive, he is looking into every single order and is very much on top of it. I love the food in Hyderabad, and I wish more food joints like Pav mantra open and make this city with amazing food scene even richer. I would visit Pav Mantra again during my next visit to India.
