Our visit to Pi at Avasa post lockdown for the New Year’s Eve dinner was truly an evening to remember. Hygiene practices were well in place and the setting was lively and festive. The buffet was sumptuous and offered a splendid array of delicacies from across the globe. The service and promptness of the staff was the cherry on top. Their forthcoming attitude is commendable and it adds to the fervour as you enjoy the warm ambience with the delectable food.
The gorgeous Sushi and Mezze platters were a welcome sight. They have a live station for Pasta and Pizza, which make it delightful for children to enjoy their personalised meal. The Bao and Momo counter is a recent addition to their buffet, and it is something I would like to go back to. Their meat filled Baos are the softest and most delicious, to say the least. The majestic Roast Turkey complemented with the zeal of the evening. The Salads at Pi are are always a treat. One can binge on them without having to sacrifice taste for health. If you are a salad lover, this is the place for you. The Alleppey prawn curry with steamed rice was heavenly and cooked to perfection. Cold beverages like Fruit Punch, Mojito, Pinacolada and sodas were served alongside.
We always have room for dessert, and the spread here was a treat. The Mirchi Halwa takes the cake :) I’m glad I tried this, and it was a smasher. The gateau spread was brimming with exotic varieties of cakes. There was a live counter whipping up some crunchy hot Jalebis to devour. The Mango Panna Cotta was a piece of art.
We had a gastronomic binge, and Chef Manpreet made sure that our evening was an absolute delight. We ended the aimless roller coaster ride of 2020 with something worthwhile. We have always enjoyed dining at Pi, and I’m glad that the restaurant has lived up to our expectations and has sprung back with...
Read moreMy recent lunch buffet experience was a major disappointment, especially considering the price tag of ₹2000. It was a complete waste of money and a serious letdown for a Friday afternoon. Food - Bland and Flavorless The main issue was the food itself. The variety was incredibly limited, and every single dish, without exception, was bland. It was as if the chefs forgot the most basic ingredient—salt. There were no distinct flavors or spices to be found, making the entire meal feel uninspired. Honestly, I cook with more flavor and variety at home on a typical weekday. Live Chaat Counter - A Letdown Hoping for some flavor, I headed to the live chaat counter. I tried the papdi chaat and was disappointed. A good chaat is all about a medley of sweet, spicy, tangy, and savory flavors. This one had none of that; it was just a pile of ingredients with no flavor variation at all. The pani puri was even worse. The puris were stale and soggy, falling apart before I could even eat them. Dessert - Lackluster The dessert spread didn't fare any better. The fruit custard was nothing more than average, and the lemon tart was a sad excuse for a pastry. The tart shell was soggy instead of the crispy, buttery, and flaky texture it should have had. The moong dal halwa lacked the rich, nutty flavor that comes from properly roasting it in ghee. Every dessert felt like an afterthought. Overall, the entire experience was a letdown. What was meant to be a nice lunch turned into a frustrating and expensive mistake. I would not recommend this buffet to anyone and will definitely not...

PI is located in Avasa hotel, madhapur. Very easy to locate. Ambiance:- simple ambiance , with no interiors. Seating arrangement is very simple which can accommodate 25-30people.
Visited this restaurant for the 2nd time, this time i went as i have got no other option. This restaurant serve more off non vegetarian, hardly we would find 5-6 times. So if someone is vegetarian like me , dont prefer a la carte here.
Buffet cost is around 1200+gst.
This time i went with mushroom, as i have tasted corn starter here. Dasstaan e khumb:- This is mushroom stuffed with cheese. Main course :- assorted Oriental veg with maa laa:- This is something we wouldn't eat much. This tasted like sweet with more of baby corn, broccoli. I wouldn't find even one peice of bell pepper .
I would suggest veg biryani here.
Value for money :- 3.5* Ambiance:-3* Taste...
