Read moreWe had the pleasure of experiencing the delightful So The Sky Kitchen, situated in the heart of Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, with a captivating view opposite the lush green KBR Park. With two seating arrangements, indoor and outdoor, this restaurant offers an enchanting experience for food enthusiasts.
Upon entering, the indoor ambiance and decor appeared rather ordinary, but as I ascended to the rooftop seating, I found myself immersed in a magical setting. Facing KBR Park, the rooftop dining area provided an unparalleled experience, as the cool evening breeze whispered through the air. The lively plantations and well-thought-out decor added to the overall charm, making outdoor seating with a view of the lush greenery the unique selling point of this establishment.
The dim lighting and soothing background music added a touch of romance and tranquility to the atmosphere, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
The staff at So The Sky Kitchen were exceptional - attentive, courteous, and well-groomed. Despite our large group, they displayed remarkable patience while taking our orders. The efficiency with which they served us was commendable, but it's worth noting that the service was a bit slow on the Monday evening we visited.
The restaurant's menu is an amalgamation of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delights, primarily focusing on North Indian cuisine. While their Bhatti da Paneer and Malai Broccoli were mouthwatering, the Manchuria fell short of expectations. The main course, including the Paneer Curry, was decent but not outstanding. However, the Dal Makhni was an absolute highlight - rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. On the other hand, the Biryani and pasta left much to be desired. For dessert, the Chocolate Lava Cake with Ice Cream was a heavenly treat, ending the meal on a high note.
The presentation of the food was impeccable, showcasing their attention to detail. The dishes exuded freshness, and the quality of ingredients was evident, promising a delightful dining experience.
One of the key highlights of So The Sky Kitchen is the value for money it offers. The pricing is reasonable, making it accessible to a wide range of patrons without compromising on taste and quality.
The restaurant maintained a high standard of cleanliness and adhered to strict hygiene practices, creating a pleasant and inviting environment for diners.
In conclusion, So The Sky Kitchen is a hidden gem in the bustling city of Hyderabad, offering a magical rooftop experience that complements the delectable North Indian cuisine. While the Italian options might not be their strong suit, the restaurant's attentive staff, impressive presentation, and good value for money make it a worthy destination for food enthusiasts. If you find yourself here, be sure to explore their North Indian menu for a truly enchanting...
