Thyme and whisk is one of the fanciest restaurants I’ve ever been to, take that as you will. The restaurant had no menu card, instead it had one of those QR code menus. The selection of dishes is quite large, overwhelmingly so. The food tasted great and let me tell you they don’t skimp out on the portions. The waiting staff (Rudra, Praskash and olen) are particularly noteworthy, they were prompt in attending to our requests. They even explained the dishes we were unfamiliar with and weren’t condescending in the least. The Service was quick and we didn’t have wait on our orders for long.
Below are a few of things I’d like to mention from my experience at the restaurant, both positive and negative. The negative is overwhelmingly trumped by the positive but I’d like to make a mention of it nonetheless.
I had the asparagus and pine nut soup and the hot soup with just the right amount of garlic and pepper made for a great appetizer.
The crispy lotus roots had a satisfying crunch and the sauce they were served in was delicious
I couldn’t taste much of the jalapeno in the jalapeno cheese nuggets. Don’t get me wrong, they still tasted great, just not in the way I had expected them to.
We were a group of 8 and 7 of us ordered pasta (I ordered the burmese khousey). One of the seven wanted penne and they rest of the orders were of spaghetti. We were instead served all spaghetti dishes (i was served burmese khousey like i had ordered, no mistakes there) and didn’t realize that we had asked for penne for one dish until some time after. We brought it to the attention of the waiting staff. They apologized and offered to replace the dish, we opted not to. Their reaction to the situation made their initial fumble insignificant.
The burmese khousey was a unique experience for me. The soup and noodle dish was served with a litany of toppings on the side, of which the fried garlic proved to be my favorite. The savory and creamy coconut milk broth and noodles were a great pair. The crunchy cucumber and broccoli in the broth made for great contrast in texture to the soft and chewy noodles. I suspect there was also some sort of crunchy lettuce or cabbage in the broth but I was so involved in stuffing myself that the thought of asking the waiting staff didn’t occur to me at that time.
I couldn’t finish my burmese khousey, and everyone was quite full themselves, so they were no help. I didn’t want to waste food so I had requested the staff to pack the rest of the khousey and they promptly did so.
This one is sort of a rant and entirely subjective in nature but I hated the dim yellow lights that constituted the poor excuse of lighting in the restaurant. It is barely better than being in dark. Not just this restaurant but most restaurants do this, at least the ones I’ve been to. The lights were dull, uninspiring and in stark contrast to the vibrantly flavorful dishes served here.
The experience as a whole was great and this is a restaurant I would surely...

Thyme n Whisk is an outstanding new veg cafe in town that offers a delightful culinary experience. We had the pleasure of trying a variety of dishes, each leaving us craving for more. The Tandoori Momos were a unique twist on a popular street food, with a perfectly charred exterior and a delicious filling that left a burst of flavors in every bite. The Tandoori Pesto Paneer tikka was a vegetarian's dream, we as a group thought that it lacked the flavor as the marination dint seep in through it. The Mango Bruschetta was a delightful appetizer, combining the sweetness of ripe mangoes with a tangy dressing on crispy bread. The Smokey Pizza with a ragi base was a pleasant surprise, with a healthy and gluten-free crust topped with an array of fresh vegetables and a smoky, savory flavor. For those seeking comfort food, the Dal Khichdi was a hearty and satisfying option. It was cooked to perfection, with a balance of lentils and rice, accompanied by fragrant spices. The Palak patta chat was a unique and crunchy dish, featuring fried spinach leaves topped with tangy chutneys and spices. The Dal makhani shots with cheese butter naan were a perfect combination, with the rich and creamy lentil curry complementing the soft and buttery naan. The Mangolian tossed up sizzlers were a treat for the senses, with a vibrant medley of vegetables in a tangy and flavorful sauce. Moving on to desserts, the Classic Tiramisu was a heavenly indulgence, with layers of coffee-soaked sponge cake and creamy mascarpone cheese. The Deconstructed black forest was a visual delight, with layers of moist chocolate cake, cherry compote, and whipped cream. Finally, the Biscoff Surprise was a delightful ending to our meal. This decadent dessert featured a smooth and creamy Biscoff-flavored filling encased in a buttery crust, leaving us craving for more. Overall, Thyme n Whisk impressed us with its diverse and flavorful menu. The dishes were expertly prepared, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The cozy ambience and friendly staff added to the overall experience. We highly recommend visiting Thyme n Whisk to experience a delightful culinary journeys.

Read moreThis is not like another regular veggie restaurant. This stands out uniquely. The reason why I am still giving a low rating is - yet to try out the entire menu!!
We three friends visited this place on a weekday afternoon for lunch. Though there were nobody to receive (as one would expect for such a good place) - but was seated pleasantly.
These days we have to scan a QR code for the menu - personally I prefer a physical menu in hand - I requested for the same - shockingly we were given a stapled printed out copy (in black & white) - Management, pls have a good nice menu prepared out.
And please train the waiters properly in suggesting the items - I asked for a clear soup (which you do not have) - we were served burnt-garlic soup with minced veggies (though it tasted good) - and was told that was the clear soup - do not force us please.
Another dish "Mushroom and Broccoli Tikka" - OMG, too much of tandoori massala in it. Can be improved for better taste. One dish stood out for its appearance, smell and taste is the sizzler "Mongolian Toss Up" - very well cooked. Super likey.
Turn-around time from order to serving is quite good, never felt waiting for a dish - keep up the good work.
Will I visit this place again - Damn sure yes.
For other patrons - please be informed this is not your regular veg place to expect Paneer dedicated dishes or all types of veg-Manchurians or Veg Handi dishes. Go try out new dishes what the restaurant has to offer - you wont be...
