After the success of their first place President dhaba, Madhapur. They had opened their 2nd branch at Road no 36, Jubilee hills which has a bar section too. It's located in the by the bottle building. Craving for some dhaba & Punjabi food, then this is the place.
Ambience:
The moment you enter the dhaba, you are welcomed with charpai(cot) seating on the left side & regular seating on the right side. Pretty beautiful wall hangings which will sooth your mind. They have a bar section too. Charpai seating is something new from the regular table seating arrangement. They also have high chair table seating.
APPETIZERS:
In Veg section we had started with fried wonton, Tandoori broccoli, Allo mukbhi, Crackling spinach potato. Fried wonton was crispy enough and tasty but need some more fillings which can relish your palates even better. Tandoori broccoli was the show stopper from the Veg Appetizer as I'm not a big fan of broccoli but the moment I had it was melting in my mouth with the richness of cream. Crackling spinach potato as the name suggests crackling we can rather say as fritters too, Alloo mukbhi was for the first-time i am tasting it. Aloo cut into two pieces and stuffed with panner, some dryfruits & tossed up with little bit of masala. The dish was okay okay to me.
In NonVeg section we had Kajubari Murgh tikka, Adraki gost, Tai Pai chicken, Prawns Dry Red Chilli, Phuket Fish. Kajubari Murgh tikka comes with juicy chicken marinated in cashew paste, the chicken could be more tender I feel. The taste was perfect. Tai Pai chicken was sweet in taste, the chicken could be more tender & juicy. Adraki gost was beautifully crafted but the marination was dominating the whole dish & made the dish Spicer. The mutton was cooked perfectly & was tender enough. Prawns Dry Red Chilli was much decent. Phuket Fish tasted amazing. The fish was soft and juicy. My pick from the nonveg Appetizer is Phuket Fish & Adraki gost.
MAIN COURSE:
From the Veg section we had Dal Amritsar, Veg Dewani handi, Sabz Methi ka mehek, Shahi paneer, Roti/Naan/Kulcha, Veg Biryani. Dal Amristari, Veg Dewani handi are m favourite. The curries could be little bit more creamier, and little bit spicy as I felt they were little bland for me. Veg biryani was outstanding. I could feel all the spices in each n every bite of biryani.
From the Nonveg section we had Murgh Lababdar, Dum ka Murgh, Lakhnawi Mutton, Nilgiri Mutton, Mutton Roghanjosh & Chicken biryani. Murgh Lababdar was creamier and I could feel tinge of sweetness in the dish. Dum ka Murgh was ok ok. The curry can be little more Spicer, the chicken was slow cooked and was tender enough. Nilgiri Mutton tasted good with the constitency of gravy with the coconut, green chillies, basil leaves paste cooked with Mutton. The spices were balanced in it. Mutton Roghanjosh was the hype in Non Veg section. I should say it almost reached my expectations. The mutton was tender & juicy. Chicken biryani tasted pretty good. Didn't expect such a brilliant taste from this place.
DESSERTS :
From the desserts we had Rasmalai, Rabdi, Kesar Phirni, Patiala Lassi. The desserts have disappointed me. Rasmalai was lacking richness in cream, taste & felt some sour. The chenna was bit hard. Phirni tasted ok ok. Rabdi was bland in taste. I could sense the taste of garlic in the desserts. Don't know where it went wrong. Patiala Lassi was good. From the bar counter we had some mocktails. Shirley temple was my favourite.

In cities you’ll rarely find a dhaba which provides you the feeling of sitting in the dhaba and having lip smacking food but @President Dhaba satisfies your desire. A great place to hangout with friends and family to enjoy the punjabi dhaba ambience comfortable sittings with good service and great food. One of the best places to get authentic punjabi food. They have a Chinese cuisine too. And they also provide a fine dining experience if you just changed your mind about dhaba. The staff here is quite polite and co-operative.
Mocktails: We tried cranberry cooler, virgin mojito, walk with hell, Shirley temple all were refreshing but my favourite was virgin mojito and walk with hell. I’ve had butter milk also which was really delicious and refreshing.
Soups: Spicy mutton soup: The mutton pieces cooked soft in a meat stew along with aromatic spices which was so flavourful and spicy.
Lung Fung soup: It’s a thick seafood soup which includes prawns and some veggies which was really delicious.
Chicken hit & sour soup: This soup was cooked in oriental flavours with shredded chicken which was tangy and delicious.

Veg crispy wonton: The wontons were filled with veggies and deeply fried. And was great in terms of taste.
Achari murg tikka: Boneless Chicken pieces mixed well with curd and achari masala and then grilled to perfection. The taste was really amazing.
Kajubari murg tikka: Chicken pieces were marinated in a cashew paste with some spices and then grilled which was great in taste.

Konjee crispy lamb: The lamb was super crispy and packed with flavours. Tossed with piquant sauces and some veggies. A must try dish.
Chicken wings: Tender juicy chicken wings coated in some sauce which was okay in taste but it could have been better.
Chicken majestic: it’s a long thin Chicken strips dish marinated with Indian spices then shallow fried. But it need some improvement.
Main course time: We tried some curries like Nawabi murgh, rajma masala, Nilgiri mutton & Sarson ka saag with with some Makai di roti & a assorted roti basket. The Nawabi murgh curry was really scrumptious(Highly recommend), Nilgiri mutton was really tasty and Sarson ka saag was also pretty good. In rice we tried Kashmiri Pulao, Jeera rice with dal fry & Ghee rice. I loved the Jeera rice and all other rices were good too.
Desserts time: We tried Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, Shahi tukda, Tutti frutti & Chocolate Ice-Cream. All the desserts were amazingly delicious.

Read morePresident Dhaba has already gained all the momentum with it's 1st outlet in Madhapur. Now they have come up with this new outlet in Jubliee Hills, a bit upscale with booze and same dhaba experience but this one is not open. So they have proper table and chair seating as well as cots here with quirky dialogues all around.
Let's jumo into the food.
VEG APPETIZER Tandoori broccoli, nice moist tender broccoli with creamy coating. Allo Mukbi, tandoori potatoes stuffed with paneer and fry dry fruits Carckling Spinach and Potatoes, it was more like a bhajiya to me, nice chakhna item.
NONVEG Kajubari Murgh Tikka, very soft mild flavoured morsels of chicken cooked in tandoor. Adraki Gosht, very over powering marinade and tender meat. Tai Pai Chicken, shredded chicken in typical sweet and sour chinese sauce. Prawns Dry Red Chilli, nicely cooked prawns with bit of chilly flakes and dry chillies. Phuket Fish, huge chunks of boneless fish in a green herb marinade.
MAIN COURSE Dal Amritsari, Dum Ka Murg Lakhnawi Chicken Nilgiri Mutton, mutton in a green gravy which was a mix of different leafs I believe.
All the main course dishes were flavourful and quantity according to me was sufficient for two people. Went well with the Naans and Rotis.
DESSERTS Rabdi Rasmalai Kesar Phirni
Patiala Lassi, this was just amazing a complete dish in itself. Have some space for it. Lassi is always a must have at such places.
