Yi Jing - ITC Kohenur — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Grandeur and place to dine for business meets or dinner dates. I just loved the ambiance of this fine dine restaurant in ITC Kohenur.

Do make sure to book the table, it's always good to reserve the table as no one wants last minute awkwardness.

I am a big time dumpling fan so I had to order over here, so to eat we have ordered these things.

As soon as you are seated staff will serve you one herbal chine tea which is refreshing and make your appetite stronger........;-) Prawn Crystal Hargao -  As name suggested, crystal clear coat and inside soft cooked prawns waiting to get inside your month. Its get better and better with each bite for sure, big enough, so as they serve portion of 4 that is good enough for two people.

Next comes Seafood Tobiko Dumpling - This looks different in terms of wrapping style of coat and inside it was Prawns again but on top of that it got orange and green bubbles which just pop inside when you eat along with dumpling. It was just okay for me, as the first one what we had set my expectations quite high.

Cantonese Cigar Roll - This one is just amazing and must have if any one loves Chicken and spring roll kind of appetizer. They have two choices between Duck and Chicken and we chose the latter one. Its crispy coated but thin one and that chilli sauce it's just tasted amazing. Shredded chicken pieces and veggies inside cooked to perfection which goes together so well.

Main course - Hot Braised Chicken with Homemade chili powder and Vegetable Fried Rice.

Curry was good and went well with fried rice and the portion size is really good which I was not expecting actually. Good enough for 2 people, and chicken chunks was in good quantity.

Desserts - Jasmine Tea Tart, Madagascar and Milk Chocolates - This dessert is heaven for chocolate lovers  but somehow it was just flat for me as I was expecting a jasmine flavor or something different in it.

Service is just to the par, can't complaint about anything.

All in all a great experience to dine in with some great positive vibes and decor.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yi Jing ITC Kohinoor, and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The ambience of the restaurant is calming and serene, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The decor is modern yet warm, creating a welcoming environment that immediately puts you at ease.

Every dish we tried was an absolute delight. We started with the Pork Bao Buns, which were soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The bao buns were complemented by the perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet pork filling. Next up was the Singaporean Crab an absolute highlight. The crab was fresh, perfectly cooked, and had a delicious sauce that made the dish stand out.

We also sampled the Mushroom Bun and the Fried Lotus Stem both were unique and flavorful. The mushroom bun was incredibly rich and earthy, while the fried lotus stem was a crunchy and delightful treat with just the right amount of seasoning. Lastly, we had the pork ribs, which was tender, well-cooked, and full of bold flavors.

Aside from the excellent food, what really made the experience stand out was the attentive and friendly staff. They went above and beyond to make our dining experience special. The servers were knowledgeable and offered great suggestions, which helped us discover some of our favorite dishes of the night.

I had very bad experience such disgusting service they have ….we went to this restaurant for celebration of our anniversary we have asked for a table they said us to wait for 10min ….they have given the table after 30min of waiting time special notice that the same table was free , cleaned , ready to dine since when I entered in the restaurant I don’t understand for what point they have not given the table when it is free ….. for taking the order they took 20min … we have ordered 2dumplings and 2noodles we received dumplings after 20min from the time of order for noodles he took 25min extra from the previous order … I don’t understand which restaurant serves the order after hour such a long waiting time … people come to the restaurant to spend their quality time and celebrate their occasion and being a 5star why do you ruin their time you charge the money as five start but your service not even for the basic level but the time we reach restaurant at 9:30pm we got the table at 10:00 they took the Oder at 10:20 after the we received first order at 10:40 and next 11:10 after seeing we taught of going to other restaurant before the second itslef I cleared my bill after they got me the order buy time 11:30 we are in the car every restaurant was closed which we feels that we had spoiled our occasion coming to itc kohenur please kindly maintain systematic service this not the way to run a 5start property you people getting down the...
