Cream Centre Hyderabad — Restaurant in Hyderabad

This Independence Day visited Hyderabad's first branch of Cream Centre (tre and not ter), located in Sattva knowledge city, Hitec City. Cream centre was in Hyderabad around 2014 but shutdown due to some reasons and now they are back.. "Its Pure Vegetarian"

We started the day with Nachos with Cheese Sauce, i personally dont like Cheese on my Nachos (prefer a Dip) hence i dint like this.. couldnt taste the flavor of Nachos here.. The other starter was Corn Cheese Balls, it had the similar kinda cheese but as it wasnt the frozen ones that other places serve i liked it..

Paav bhaaji was the star dish here, the Paav's were super soft which we ended up ordering thrice. The bhaaji had perfect balance of flavors and spice. #personalrecommendation

Channa/Chole Bhature - I liked that it was thin and had less oil. I felt the bhature should have had a little gravy than it being thick..

Honey Chilli Potato- Again, i loved this. The flavors were balanced and the potato was crisp, even when the dish was cold the potatoes had the crunch Steamed Saucy Wontons - The Wontons were thin, had a nice filling and gravy gave a nice flavor to that filling..

Paneer Shashlik Sizzler - Not a bigg fan of sizzlers because of past disappointments however i dint mind this one.. The flavors of the rice and veggies were bang on.. The paneer was a star here.. Though the pieces were big you could taste the marinated flavors in each bite.. There is hardly any place in Hyderabad who does justice to such big paneer pieces and i've found two places now..

Paneer Chilli Bao - Again, had bad experiences at other places with Bao but here the Bao dint have that raw smell of Maida and also the Paneer chilli's flavors were perfect. The Bao's were soft compared to other places i had..

Onion Rings - very different from what we get at other places, give it a try when its hot. I was a little late so had mixed reactions.. it tasted good with the sauces provided however, it has very good feedback from other customers.. Will definitely try it again..

Pink Penne Pasta - I was already full so dint try it, my friends loved it so i guess it would have been good.. they prepare it with 70-30 white red sauce..

The mocktails were nice, refreshing. My fav8 was Masala Cola, Mojito and the star for me was Tall Strawberry Ice Cream Soda. I asked for chat masala to add it on the Ice cream soda and every1 loved it.. #personalrecommendation The Peach Ice Tea here were was amazingg but i'll choose Lipton Ice tea over any ice teas. The one we used to get in Subway's (fountain).

In desserts we had Bada Gulab Jamun, the star dish.. The sweetness was balanced, the Jamun was moist&soft and the Rabdi added extra flavor to it.. #personalrecommendation The Sizzling Brownie was equally good, it wasnt tooo sweet, not burnt, nicely roasted cashews and the brownie was really soft. #personalrecommendation

Cream centre is located in a place where you have the IT Crowd so the price wouldnt be a big deal for them but it is slightly on the higher side. I personally will definitely visit this place again as more than the food the ambience is really good . You can take your family along for a nice and refreshing evening, take your girl/guy on a date or just hang out with your friends as this place (Sattva) has a lot to offer.

Cream centre has many more option like Chaat, north Indian, brews, Pizza's.. As it was an Indian holiday the IT crowd wasnt there so we had a good time otherwise the place seems to be crowded..

THE KIDS INSISTED ON FRENCH FRIES, AND THE SERVED QUANTITY WAS JUST A HANDFUL. EVEN THE PORTION GIVEN AT INOX IS MUCH MORE THAN WHAT IS BEING SERVED HERE. THE FRESH LIME JUICE- WAS THE WORST I EVER HAD! Creme Centre, is located inside Knowledge City in Hi-Tech City. In order to reach there, you need to enter the Knowledge City through Gate No 4. After entering you will have to drop your vehicle to the Valet Services and reach the place.

On the weekends it may get busy and you will not get a walk-in table. You will have to wait for 20-30 minutes. After you get inside you will find the atmosphere is average. The restaurant is very bright with not much space between tables. Even the design is pretty average. You will have two tables outside which would give a great view and you must try to sit outside.

While I visited on a weekend, I felt that the restaurant was under staffed. For a good 16+ tables there were only 2 stewards to take the food order. So you will have to wait for some time to catch hold of them. In addition the stewards who were serving were also less as they barely had time to serve water.

The menu is elaborate, however slightly expensive. I would say expensive because the quantity does not match the price.

However, the quality was just out of this world. The food quality was extremely satisfying. All the dishes we ordered were very well prepared. Very tasty food which would make you want to crave for more. I wish they would have matched it with quantity and it would have been a 5 star restaurant despite the average service and atmosphere.
