O' Dam Cafe — Restaurant in Jharkhand

This is the most stunning cafe in the city overlooking a dam. The menu is very interesting and anything you order tastes good. The sandwiches, pizzas to mains like the Jamaican jerky chicken, the food is to die for. The ambience is brilliant. For anyone into music, the detailing is amazing. The music playing in the cafe is great and so is the art work on the wall- Michael Jackson’s moondance, to Coldplay tracks, to a Pink Floyd wall. There is a variety of books and the large windows with so much green outside will just want you to sit there for hours to read, especially because they have great coffee too! And then there are board games you can play if you’re there with family or friends. I’ve taken multiple people who are visiting from bigger cities here and the food selection, quality and menu are at par with anything you’ll find in the metropolitans. The hosts themselves are almost always there to guide you through everything available and make you feel very welcome. I have been there few times, today hosted birthday party of my daughter, we were 18 no commitment were given for number of people along kids the food served and then left I asked them to pack as I am going to pay for this then they outright denied rudely we can't pack??? Why?? I have ordered for 18 people n only 2 dal served that to we could not consume total so we asked to pack the food which was left jutha on the table manager denied???

In service industry who behave 🤯 like this?? N u serve rest over food to ur new customer?? Hence people be aware . Have not asked for anything free not even Onion were served free sir 😭.

Great ambience especially the choice of music - for a change this is a place where you will get to listen to the songs of the legends whose posters are there unlike other places where John Lennon is smiling to the tunes of Bollywood 'rap'...

The service is impeccable, fast and accurate.

Now the food - very rarely you get a place where food from all the genres are equally good, O'Dam is ONE of that place.

We ordered - chicken momo , spicy salmon sushi and pita with hummus and Falafel as appetizers. Virgin mojito and Watermelon balls were accompanying that.

The main course consists of aglio e olio and grilled prawn...both were plate scraping good....

We signed off with fried ice cream there was a twist in the that ...it came in rolls ...that was tasty too...

All in all a very good dining...
