Golden dreams guest house — Restaurant in Jodhpur

The room is very small made up of aluminium doors for the main entrance and washroom.. also all the windows are made up of aluminium… the bathroom really tiny…there are no sockets near bed only one provided near entrance without any space to keep phone/ or any other charging object..the room is noisy for some reason…curtains are looking untidy with a broken hanger on the wall….

i reach the property around 9:30pm (completed the formalities by 9:45)… i thought they would be having the restaurant as well but when i called them they asked me to have dinner outside as they didn’t have any restaurant.. this is misleading as it was mentioned in their description.. i went out at 10:00 to eat something and get back by 12:00am… when i came back i saw there were no towels/toileteries etc provided…the blanket was so thin that i was shivering from cold as it was 11 degrees in jodhpur and i got the room at top floor which was looking more like a store room.. i called MMT to cancel my next day’s stay as i didn’t feel like continue stay here…this was apparently offensive for the owner. Then told me if i didn’t like the room..he can provide another room but i give you the room according to your booking, then he said he has big rooms too come with me i will show you. I refuse to see other rooms at 2:00am in night.. btw i paid for the deluxe room and if he has the better room why at first place he offered me the worst out of the lot just because i booked online…then he said you are getting room at such low cost you paid only 1350 for the room which is cheap considering this season still you are complaining. Then i told him that i don’t want to continue i didn’t like it, then he started giving me guilt by saying he has attended so many guests none has complained and they become like friends if you want i can call someone from them and you...

The hotel is good. It's more like a homestay. Owners are very good and welcoming. They also cook delicious foods. The location is very close to the Nahargarh fort and other main attractions. Room size was ok. Washroom is very narrow. No socket / plug point near the bed. No almirah or rack to keep dress and belongings. Only a small table and chair was beside the bed.
