Bel Canto Multi Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Kannur

It was an average experience. I went to the restaurant with my family for a dinner. I reserved the table over phone call and they were decent enough to check our status when we were half an hour late. There is lift from parking and they provided wheelchair to my mom as per request. The staffs were very courteous and they helped us to get to the washroom and table. We ordered food and starters were served quick (less than 10min). It was hot but somehow didn't feel fresh. The nool porotta and butter nan was already lost its warmth. I couldn't even see a pinch of pineapple in the pineapple mojito i have ordered. I felt like squash. Before we order, I asked for any 'restaurant special' item (I always ask any restaurant) so that we don't miss any tasty item. But that gentleman was not sure of such thing. Overall, friendly staff and their hospitality, neat and clean area, wonderful ambience and average food and service.

I'm really let down by Benale International. We pre-ordered a Vishu sadhay four days in advance, expecting it to be ready by 12:45 PM. But when we got there at 1:30 PM to pick it up, it was a mess.

We had to wait another half an hour just to get the food we'd already planned and waited for. And when we finally got it, it was a joke. They said 17 dishes, but each one was tiny. I mean, barely enough for a kid. Except for rice and sambar, everything else was like a spoonful.

Plus, they expected us to pay 400 rupees for this disappointment. And to add insult to injury, the leaf that came with the Sadhya was torn! Couldn't even hold a spoon of rice properly.

This was supposed to be a special occasion, but Benale ruined it. Even after calling them to complain, it didn't make things better.

The only silver lining was that after multiple calls, they finally refunded the money. But that doesn't make up for the ruined Vishu celebration.

I won't be going back there anytime, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere...

Ambiance: The setting was decent, but nothing remarkable.

Service: The biggest letdown was the staff and management. The team seemed completely untrained and disorganized. We had to ask twice just to get the menu, and there was no one actively taking orders. Despite multiple attempts to get their attention, including raising hands, the floor manager and staff simply ignored us.

When the order was finally taken, we were initially served the wrong dish and had to wait again for the correct one. Hygiene was also a concern, as we noticed some staff displaying unhygienic behavior, like touching their noses while serving.

Food: The food was average at best, but the disappointing service overshadowed the entire dining experience.

Overall: Poor service, unprofessional staff, and mediocre food make this a place I wouldn’t recommend. There are far better...
