Read moreWent there last week for dinner. The food and quality of service was pretty good during my previous visits. But last week I was thoroughly disappointed. Most of the items in the menu were unavailable. Only a few Arabic items and kebabs were available. And this was at 9:30 PM. What is the point of having such an extensive menu when most of it was unavailable. When we asked the waiter he told us that it was because of Ramzan. Understandable. But doesn't the management have the responsibility of notifying the customer at the entrance itself that they are operating on a limited menu. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for a table only to be told that most of the items were unavailable. Even when we tried to order what was available, we were told by the waiter that those things would take a long time to be made. The attitude of the waiter was as if we were wasting his time. Even the items that ultimately reached us didn't feel fresh. The rotis were ok. But the Chicken Alfaham was very dry and felt as if it had been regrilled many times. The fried rice was again very dry and the rice felt as if it was cooked long beforehand. We ate because we didn't believe in wasting food and beat a hasty retreat. Will have to think many times before...
Read moreGood ambience, two large dinning halls in the first floor, takeaway and shawarma counters in the ground floor…Main focus on Arabic dishes with little of Indian and Italian. We tried Arabic as well as Indian… As per local standard, Hummus was good but not upto the Arabic standard…did not find any Olive oil in Hummus…thandoori chicken was done well…perfectly grilled and spiced up…the Kulchas were over burnt while the Rumali Rotis were soft and done well. The best was the soups…cream of Chicken and mushroom soups…perfectly done… The chicken Rara masala was also good and went well with the rotis…
Scope for improvement in laying the table and the table management by the serving staff…lot of training needs to go in this area..there were no cutlery on the table and when asked, they brought handful of forks and spoons and kept them on the table top…had to ask them to place them on a plate…neither any sauces…the soup came and we had to wait for the sauces….the order of execution also needs to be made professional…we asked for lime juice to start with which came last…so was the soup which we asked to bring first but came later…. Overall a good place for dinning who love Arabic food… Though pricing is a bit high, it goes well with the...
