HURRY BERRY — Restaurant in Kannur

We were in the area and wanted to have some evening snacks. Saw the reviews and visited the place. We ordered the crispy chicken burger and Mexican wrap. The burger was too small in size for the price of ₹140 although there's nothing wrong to say about the taste, it tasted decently good. The bun was not very soft, because it was not made on the same day, I can say that for sure. Could be from the previous day, which is not wrong to serve as it doesn't get spoilt in 2-3 days. The Mexican wrap was a disappointment. Reasons, it's priced at ₹180, the tortilla was raw, not grilled or toasted well and the size and fillings weren't good. It was a let down. That choice went wrong. Saw other people on 3 other tables ordered the crispy chicken burger and loaded fries. I regularly go there during weekends, either with friends or solo, just to have the indelibly impressive taste of the Hazelnut Milkshake. I can say with certitude that you will not come back disappointed after having a meal on their menu.

But all of us, myself included, have their share of bouquets and brickbats – one con of this place is its location. This bistro is situated on Thavakkara, the downtown of Kannur and equally an upscale locality comprising of branded clothing stores of the likes of Peter England and Allen Solly. Thavakkara is notorious for the numerous traffic congestions in the city. The insufferable honking of the cars driven by fashion-crazy youth can dampen your dining experience there.

Went here with high hopes after reading comments. We were wanting to go here since a long time, but finally got to go only yesterday (26th January, 2022).

It is a very small space. Small, in the sense, possibly close to getting you claustrophobic. The stair case to the first floor (dine-in) area is too narrow. Senior citizens and people with babies, beware of this. The climb can be a tad bit challenging.

Sad to say the food was disappointing. We had Beef Burger and Blue Lime Mojito.

Beef Burger: 1/5 The meat was hard, buns not good. Only thing i liked about it was the spiciness.

Blue Lime Mojito: 1/5 Well, the drink was more green than blue to start with. Sugar wasn't dissolved well, it came up through the straw.
