One of the worst experiences from Kannur apparently. Just got out of the place alive now. I was afraid I might choke to death eating their American chopsuey!! If this is what you're serving your customers then I don't think you'll be able to continue this for long!
I went there after viewing the reels of RefillYourTummy on IG. I liked the ambience. I went around 2.00 pm, so there were a very few people inside. I ordered Cream of Tomato soup, American chopsuey and Aqua Mojito. The soup was okayish. I felt it was too sweet to be a tomato soup. The American chopsuey was garbage. The portion size was a truckload and was drenched in tomato ketchup. I couldn't even finish half of the dish as it was even sweeter than the soup. I felt like I was gulping from a ketchup bottle. The Mojito was refreshing. Being someone who hates wasting food, this experience made me all sad. I tried but I just couldn't take another bit as I felt like puking.
To the people who own this place:
Please.. please reconsider the portion size of the food you serve. And make sure you're serving good quality food. Just because you're charging a hefty amount for your dishes doesn't mean that you've to entirely fill up the plate you serve. You could reduce the price and reduce the portion size as well. And DON'T use tomato sauce / ketchup like it's free of cost. It's...

The staff deserve a special mention; when I asked about their authentic signatures, they guided me with warmth and knowledge, helping me pick the dishes that truly define the place.
I began with the Malabar Spice Beef (₹330)—a creative fusion where half pasta meets half beef. Surprisingly, this combination worked wonders, delivering both comfort and character on a single plate.
Next up, the star of the evening—Tiger Spicy Chicken (₹170 for a quarter). Juicy, fiery, and unapologetically bold. Flame-kissed to perfection, it came with a spice alert that set both the taste buds and the senses ablaze, leaving behind a smoky aroma you can’t forget.
To mellow down the fire, I ended on a sweet high with the Choco Ecstasy (₹250). A decadent indulgence of brownie, nuts, ice cream, and molten chocolate layered generously. The portion was hearty—perfectly shareable between two people, though honestly, you’ll be tempted to keep it all...
Read moreThe food tasted average and the quantity was so less. I ordered the food through Zomato and the delivery time was too long. Now coming to the taste. I had ordered butter garlic chicken, chilli paneer, porotta and shredded chicken. If you are looking for a creamy butter tasting curry with zero spice then this would be the right choice but if you are a spice lover you are not gonna like this. The porotta was a bit too hard, maybe it happened because of the delivery delay!. Shredded chicken was average not up to the hype. Chilli paneer was a real flop!! The paneer was so hard, infact it was more like a rubber and the dish itself looked tragic so a big no no. This was my personal experience ordering food from here. Apart from chilli paneer I guess the other items would have tasted better because they serve it hot during dine in (skeptical!). So inshort the quantity was less for the price being paid and the taste was average and I didn't find any must try item here (obviously from whatever I ordered). So until next time happy...
