KFC — Restaurant in Kannur

This is the worst KFC Outlet in India. I've travelled all over the world. I've been all over India and never got this sort of garbage before. WTH is this? I ordered an Ultimate Bucket deal last nite through Zomato from this location and this is the kinda chicken I got. Look at the size of the strips. Those r not even strips. That's jus broken pieces of the strips. The other pieces were two thigh a wing and a leg. All very very small. My two year old hand is bigger than those chicken pieces. What do u think, I'm begging u for the chicken. I paid my money and expected to get my money's worth. How do u serve customers this kinda garbage? U people have no shame? The same way u work hard for ur money it's the same way I work hard for mines. I'm not getting it free from the side of the road. If I was the one working at KFC and u guys were my customers how would u feel after paying ur hard earned money and getting this? R u all jus so greedy for money that u don't care about the customers? I'm seriously taking this up with head office. Coz when I tried to complain to Zomato I couldn't. I need to write them an email and wait for them to reply. So I won't waste my time there. I'm taking this to the higher authorities. I bought food from this location before ( walk in ) but never got this sort of food. Only because it's a delivery order u guys did this thinking the customer can't do anything once they accept it. First of all its located in Thavakkara bystand. Which makes easy to access. Secondly you can park in busstand. As usual KFC chicken is awesome. Not too much oily. But the Crispy as usual. You can find different offers available at shop. We ordered two chicken burger and family special bucket chicken as parcel. The parcel tray for hanging the Coco cola is good. You can hold it in hand like you are holding a bag. Veg mionise and tomato ketchup was there in the KFC packet. Now as it is there is rush. Usually in festival days and week end days there is rush. Waiting for the food is low. That is too according to what you ar ordering. In counter you order the food. They will call your token number when the food is ready. Go and collect if you wish to eat from there tell them before ordering. Otherwise they will pack it properly. AC is not that much cool. In ground floor less space to enjoy the food. First floor space is there. But may there is a chance for less vacant space. You need to Carry water if you don't want to drink Coco cola. Otherwise you need to ask to the staff till they get water. Coco cola taste different than usual one. Service is good. You can take your time to order the food. But variety of chicken is less. Menu contain less items. I wrote a review 5 years ago that this is one of the worst experiences in KFC the staff are not well organised and they really don’t care for the queue system.

But I recently visited this KFC branch again and was truly impressed by how the team managed everything despite being visibly understaffed. It was a busy time with both dine-in customers and a constant flow of delivery pickups, which clearly put a lot of pressure on them.

What stood out to me was the professionalism and teamwork displayed by the staff. Even in a challenging situation, they remained calm, patient, and composed. Some customers were understandably upset due to delays, but the staff handled those interactions with politeness and respect, which I deeply appreciated.

The level of coordination among the team was admirable. Despite the odds, they kept the operations running smoothly and ensured that every order was prepared correctly. Watching their dedication and effort, it was clear they were doing their absolute best to provide good service.

It’s rare to see such commitment under pressure, and it deserves to be acknowledged. This team embodies the true spirit of customer service, and I hope their hard work does not go unnoticed. Kudos to them for maintaining their professionalism and delivering a great experience even in a tough situation.
