We took delivery their Chicken Biryani and Veg Biryani, Chicken biryani was horrible, basmati rice with yellow colorings no spice no masala nothing was simply the worst
If chicken biryani was horrible veg biryani was horrific, they gave burnt veg biriyani, we couldn't even have a spoon
Had to throw 6 chicken biryani and 3 veg into dustbin, had to search for some other restaurant found a veg restaurant near the bus stand as is was almost 9 o clock and most hotels were closed by the time.
Avoid Biryani here at any cost, paradise only in the Name
OLD REVIEW - NOVEMBER - 2016
Better biryani than the one we got served at another hotel nearby, but don't go there expecting biryani you can term it as some rice with little biryani flavor, the vegetable biryani we bought was horrible.
You better take the tables on the entrance itself, the main area is a cramped place with no proper ventilation, either choose take away or the tables on the entrance, The main serving area which is on the first floor is too cramped
Bought Biryani, chilli chicken, taste was like tomato rice, quantity was good, taste was bad.
I would give it a big skip...
Read moreIn actual, a long lost legend from mysuru.. someone who was a trendsetter in the mysuru biryani scene 38 years ago. Biryani paradise, on sayaji Rao road started the take away counter with biryani neatly packed in an aluminum foil box keeping it hot and fresh. Earlier to this it was wrapped in news papers. This became a rage in the city at that time. One of the pioneers to spearhead the basmati biryani also was biryani paradise. Stepped into their outlet after long to be welcomed by a brush of nostalgia and beautiful memories. Food and memories go hand in hand and create an indelible bond in between. The biryani came piping hot, and as expected with the aluminum foil Packet on top... was top notch. Great Masadla and aroma long grains of golden rice ... lovely meat ...melt in the mouth. One piece was just bone, and the server immediately replaced it . The kaddu ka dalcha and raita were spot on , soothing and gave the shaadi ki biryani vibes...vintage mysuru in all its form. The kabab was a revelation... it's came as chicken 65 with bone on the bill, but was actually kabab.. easily one of the finest in the city. The sprinkle of Masala and fried onion on top took it to another level altogether. Comfortable seating, good nostalgic food made the old school way and decent hygiene...add nostalgia to it. Biryani paradise is a...
Read moreBiryani Paradise has been a part of my family's dining tradition since childhood, and it holds a special place in our hearts. Visiting today as adults, the newly renovated ambiance left us impressed. The space is well-lit, cosy, and has an open, welcoming environment that feels both modern and familiar.
We ordered the chicken biryani, and it did not disappoint. The biryani was perfectly cooked, with rich flavors and high-quality ingredients that made it an absolute delight to eat. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I couldn’t resist ordering a second one! The balance of spices and the tender chicken made for a satisfying experience, and I left feeling extremely happy with the taste, quality, and service.
While the service was impeccable, I couldn’t help but miss the warmth and welcoming smile of Mr. Khadeer, the former owner. I was saddened to learn that he had passed away during the pandemic. His presence had always been one of the highlights of visiting Biryani Paradise.
If I had one small suggestion, it would be regarding the water served. It would be great if they could offer Bisleri water instead of local brands to match the high standards of the food and service.
Overall, Biryani Paradise continues to deliver exceptional food and a memorable experience, making it a must-visit for any...
