Blue Mist (Malligi) — Restaurant in Karnataka

Worst possible restaurants in Hospete. 6 of us first went to Blue Mist restaurant which looked quite modern. We ordered soup (veg man chow and hot and sour). After that came hot salt water with pepper. Both tasted exactly same and neither what they were supposed to be. After complaining we were told this is how the soups are made- you have fried noodles in the soup so it’s manchow and pepper that’s why it’s hot and sour. To add insult to injury they told you guys are from metro city so you like it differently. We argued a little but then it was all waste. Had ordered cheese spring rolls which was something I never eaten before. It was filled with paneer and some other cheese and called spring rolls. We didn’t order anything further and left. Went to Temptations now. The place was packed and we got a seat. Here also same problem, whatever you order is a risk specially. Continental food. The chef had some perception of every dish and you have to love with that. Finally ordered desert ( two scoops of ice cream) which 20 mins and came only when we threatened to leave. After telling that they have given wrong flavour of ice creams , the waiter, while my friend was eating, switched the ice creams !!! Finally the bill came and to my surprise each item in liquor bill had more price (10-15 rs). When I asked the guy started checking and I showed him the menu with the correct price. After that he came with another menu with the extra prices !! His argument- I gave you both the menus. So basically they give you one menu for order and bill from another. Finally paid after deducting money and left as we were late by 45 min due to all this. Went back to the Hotel to find duty manager to tell all this. He listened to two lines and then left running towards some other crowd. Looks like some other problem bigger than ours.

All and all, highly incompetent and deceiving staff. I would never ever visit or recommend anyone. Please avoid this place...

Never go and spoil your health. 27th May 2022 night we planned for family dinner. We ordered ice tea which had cockroach floating. We complained but the server said it's due to air it might have fell down. We cancelled it. Later we offered main course we ordered pulav after while having we found large sized cockroach. This time the waiter didn't had any reason. Inspite of showing that they were least Bothered. 3 of my family members had vomiting at night and today also full stomach pain. This is a serious issue. I am attaching photo for reference. Food is also not good, no taste. Service is hopeless. Lack of employees. Lack of interest. No one is bothering. Please avoid visiting this place for family dinner. They have to take it as serious action on quality of food they are giving to visitor. If not one day they will surely get their food...

I would never recommend this dine-in place to anybody. To start with, the staff are very unaccommodating and rude. They were not willing to give us an additional chair for the 5th person, we ended up squeezing and sitting. The vegetarian food was very average and rotis had maida. The cocktails were all messed up and when we asked them , they argued and did not even offer to makes changes. We had ordered vegetarian food but chicken was given to us. They were not even apologetic about it. Just took the dish away. We had some foreign tourists at the next table, the entire focus of the staff was just to please them. They did not even give us sufficient menu cards to order food but the foreign tourists were all were given a menu card each.

In our own country we were treated like 2nd class...
