My second review. Ordered the below items - mango lassi, Guava chilli, neembu paani - never ever miss Guava chilli. Mango lassi was ok ok. Manchow soup - Delicious spicious soup. Tikki chat - tasted better compared to other restaurants nearby. Panner sauté - Just avoid if u r not in favour of peanut sauce. Tastes bitter. Jeera rice with daal tadka - not bad. Could hve been better. Inspite of minute flaws, i still feel This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in mysore. First review: One of the best veg restaurant in mysore. Best in terms of hygiene, quality and quantity. Ambience and service is also great. Though price is on higher side I felt it was worth every penny. Food was very tasty. Ordered Guava Chilled Juice, Butter naan, Bhindi Mirch masala and we really enjoyed it. Would visit again to try out other dishes. I definitely recommend this restaurant. A BIG THUMBS UP 👍🏻

Visited this place in the afternoon heat, mostly for food... but let’s be real — also hoping to cool off in the AC. Plot twist: The AC was barely working. Multiple families (including me) were complaining, and the staff admitted it’s been acting up and service has been called. So yeah, not the breezy break we were expecting. Food-wise: Naan was soft and well made — no complaints there. Fresh lime soda - Perfect mix Kadhai Paneer, though, was a bit of a letdown. Barely any veggies. When I asked, the staff mentioned that their version usually just has onions and maybe capsicum (which I honestly couldn’t spot much of). The dish leaned more gravy-based than dry, and with so few veggies, the gravy felt kinda bland. But props where it’s due: The staff was polite and respectful, and that always adds some comfort to the experience — even when the AC doesn't.

When we first entered, there was a wait time to get a table as it was s sunday night 9:30 pm. We waited for around 20 mins and then we all sat down. We ordered 4 garlic Naan and 1 paneer butter masala with jeera rice and pulao and 2 fudge brownies with ice cream. We first got the Naan and paneer and the Naan was a bit hard to make into pieces. The food came quicker after as usual wait 15 mins. Later, We received the brownies and they poured chocolate syrup over them. It was sizzling hot and the ice cream was a good balance for the heat and cold. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to vegeterians and I loved it here. The only downside is it's super expensive compared to what you pay and what you get in service, quality and quantity.

Kailash Parbat, Mysore – A Delightful Culinary Journey

Kailash Parbat in Mysore offers a fantastic blend of North Indian and street food flavors, making it a haven for food lovers. Located conveniently, the restaurant has a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for family outings or casual meals with friends.

What stands out? The menu is extensive, featuring a range of North Indian delicacies, chaats, and fusion dishes. Their signature Chole Bhature is a must-try—soft, fluffy bhature paired with rich, flavorful chole. Another highlight is their Pani Puri, which captures the authentic Mumbai-style taste, complete with tangy and spicy pani.

Exceptional Service by Tarak Kant A special mention goes to Tarak Kant for his exceptional service. His attentiveness, warm demeanor, and dedication to ensuring every customer has a memorable experience truly stand out. He went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and made excellent recommendations, elevating our overall dining experience.

Ambiance & General Service The restaurant’s decor has a modern yet cozy vibe, with plenty of seating to accommodate groups. The rest of the staff is equally courteous, ensuring prompt service even during busy hours.

Desserts Don’t leave without trying their desserts! The Kulfi Falooda and Gulab Jamun are crowd favorites that perfectly end the meal on a sweet note.

Pricing The prices are slightly on the higher side compared to local eateries, but the quality, presentation, and flavors make it worth every penny.

Final Verdict Kailash Parbat is a must-visit in Mysore for anyone craving authentic North Indian cuisine and street food specialties. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, this place promises a memorable dining experience. Kudos to Tarak Kant and the team for setting the bar high in hospitality!

I recently ordered food from Kailash Parbat in Mysore, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The restaurant failed to meet my expectations on several levels, and I left feeling unsatisfied.

Firstly, the kichidi I ordered was overly salty, which was not what I expected from a restaurant that prides itself on quality food. The North Indian meal I ordered was also below average, with the dal being overly salty as well. This lack of balance and attention to flavor was disappointing, and it detracted from the overall experience.

Additionally, the paneer dish I ordered had an extreme spice masala, which was not to my liking. The restaurant should be more careful in ensuring that the spiciness levels are appropriate and suitable for a range of taste preferences.

Lastly, the veg kadai dish was nothing more than just potatoes and was not cooked fully. This lack of attention to detail in cooking was a major disappointment, and it affected the overall quality of the dish.

Overall, my experience at Kailash Parbat in Mysore was extremely disappointing. From the overly salty kichidi and dal to the undercooked veg kadai and overly spicy paneer, there were several issues that contributed to my dissatisfaction. Hopefully, the restaurant can take steps to address these issues and improve the quality of their dishes for...

First of all, their menu is not at all organized. Some items are missing from the menu. So how does one place the order in the first place ? Then I call them and give them the order and remind them to not forget. And they do exactly the same ! The very item I called them for and paid on his GPay he forgets to send the item, and this mistake has been repeated countless times now. Seems their stuff are highly unprofessional, no spirit, highly inconsiderate toward their work and customers. So always are left with a bad bad experience. When you personally go to the restaurant also, they do not bother to come greet, take the order and or bring the water either ! Seems how interested one can be in their job or treatment of other human being. Sometimes you finish the whole meal and still they have not served you water ! They simply don’t care about their work or service. I don’t know who is over looking the whole management team because it’s highly...
