This place boasts a good ambiance, but the food falls far short of expectations. While they attempt to market their dishes as authentic Italian, the end product doesn’t justify the taste nor the high price. At the core, a restaurant's purpose is to serve good food, and when the food disappoints, no narrative about the owners’ abroad experiences, chefs’ training, fine dine concept or palate differences can make up for it. Sadly, this place misses the mark where it matters most.
Firstly, paying for the food I ate at your establishment is qualification enough to share my honest feedback. Reviews reflect a diner’s personal experience, and while I understand your pride in your credentials, they cannot override the subjective nature of a customer's meal. If my observations align with another customer’s, it only reinforces the validity of the concerns raised.
I don’t claim to be an 'authenticity expert'. As a paying customer, I have every right to share my feedback without needing to justify my background or boast about it. Feedback doesn’t require technicalities or a checklist—it reflects how the customer feels during and after their visit.
Dismissing reviews as 'factually incorrect' or lacking 'objectivity' undermines the purpose of feedback, which is inherently subjective. Your defensive and accusatory response doesn’t foster goodwill or improve your establishment. If you choose not to take reviews constructively and instead blame customers for not being 'good or qualified enough' to review your place, you are welcome to do so, that’s entirely your choice.
As for me, I visited your restaurant, it didn’t go well with me, and I am done with it. I’ve shared my experience and am moving on. I don’t wish to waste any more time on...
Read moreAs soon as you enter, the decor immediately draws you in, setting high expectations for the experience. I was genuinely excited to explore the menu. However, I was disappointed to find that the food didn’t come close to authentic Italian flavors.
The pizza, served just 10 minutes after ordering, was underbaked means it was soft and lacked crispiness and freshness of a baked pizza appropriately, lacked the quality one would expect. Adding to this, the waitress forgot our cocktails and brought the appetizers first, requiring a reminder. While the veg pesto ravioli was decent, the salt was overdone, overshadowing the dish. Having lived in Italy for four years, I can tell when authentic ingredients like good olive oil are used, and unfortunately, this wasn’t the case here.
What left me most disappointed was being charged ₹40 for a takeaway box for leftover pizza. For a fine dining restaurant that charges ₹700 for a pizza, adding an extra fee for a box feels unreasonable and unwelcoming. It speaks volumes about where customer satisfaction and priority stand in their service. While I initially considered giving this place 3 stars, this final experience truly dampened my impression. Please note that Rs 40 was charged after paying the bill so it wouldn’t be reflected in the bill, I will send you screenshot of the UPI done, such lies you claim that you don’t charge for packaging .Please check with your staff before responding and your business will flourish if you consider customer feedback rather than blaming the customers. I mentioned the taste was not authentic doesn’t mean I return all the dishes . Common have some grace to take the feedback...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting the new Italian restaurant in town, and overall, it was a delightful experience, though with a few things to consider.
From the moment I walked in, the ambience immediately transported me to Italy— especially with the charming little window that really made me feel like I had stepped into a quaint Italian café. The menu was beautifully designed, showcasing a mix of traditional Italian flavors with a modern twist. I started with a hot chocolate, which was absolutely divine, followed by the salted caramel gelato—definitely a 10/10.
The fries were crispy and satisfying, and the provolone cheese sandwich was tasty as well. However, I was a bit disappointed with the veggie lover pizza—it lacked flavor and seasoning, making it rather bland. For an Italian restaurant, pizza is often a highlight, and unfortunately, this one didn’t live up to expectations.
Another downside was the service. While the staff was friendly, there was a moment of confusion when another table was served wine, and when we inquired about it, we were told it had been stopped and I felt feeling dissatisfied with that interaction.
Pricing was fair, though as mentioned, with an Italian restaurant, the focus on pizza and its taste is crucial. I hope the kitchen can improve the pizza flavor to match the overall high-quality vibe of the restaurant.
Overall, I see a lot of potential here, and I hope they can address these areas to become a true standout...
