KFC — Restaurant in Karnataka

At Barath City centre mall, we’ve ordered Family bundle, Original chicken (wings,strips,pieces) Burger, popcorn and drinks. Ordered food, we snacked the strips and popcorn no issues. Opened chicken pieces, wings and burger- we found blood stains, pink and raw meat. Raised the issue to the till and they just said sorry. We’ve raised query at what temp they cook it. Replied it’s cooked at 174 degree. Which isn’t the cooking temp suggested by KFC itself. Re ordered the burger, re ordered the chicken.(chicken came back in excellent condition. Wings and Burger chicken was still raw and informed them again. I’ve queried a family nearby, if this is how it’s being served to see if this is my issue.the father of that family replied - I don’t eat from here but I buy popcorn for my kids because of previous bad experiences.

Restaurant Hasn’t offered a refund or accepting their flaw, I’ve urged for refund. Agreeing for a refund, I had to wait 5 minutes.

Ive kindly declined the refund and we left the restaurant with a note given to the Manger stating “Please be careful when cooking food. Salmonella is real.”

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The staff was incredibly rude and showed blatant favoritism toward locals. From the moment we entered, it felt like we were unwelcome just because we weren’t from Karnataka. The food that was advertised wasn’t available, and when I asked for Pepsi, they said the machine was broken. Strangely, I saw them serve Pepsi to other customers right in front of me. It was obvious they were making excuses and didn’t care about providing decent service to anyone from outside their state.

The tables were dirty, and when we asked for them to be cleaned, the staff acted like it was a huge inconvenience. Even basic customer service, like bringing water, was done begrudgingly. The portions were small for the price, and the quality of the food that we did receive was subpar, nowhere close to what was shown in the ads.

This place thrives on its location and possibly word-of-mouth among locals, but if you’re not from the area, don’t expect to be treated fairly. I’ve never felt so disrespected at a restaurant before. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. This place...
