Hotel Laxmi Cityside — Hotel in Karnataka

We visited for a family trip to Mangalore during the Christmas holidays and found this hotel from the Google map search. We checked in on 25th Dec 2020 and checked out on 27 Dec 2020. ||We took a 3 - bedded room for me, my wife and adult son.||Hotel rooms:||Rooms were amazingly pristine - the owner took lot of care to provide each and every necessity in side the room and we were very much impressed starting from the simple and easy checkin till the checkout. Very friendly, trained staff- we in fact felt like staying in a 5 star hotel- that is the level of care they are taking. 5/5 from my side.||Break fast: It had a breakfast included in the Tarrif- it was OK OK- We had Idly, upma and Bajil along with bread/butter for the breakfast- there were no eggs/omlette. 4.5/5 for this item||Location:||This hotel is bang on the most happening place in Mangalore- Hampanakatta. This hotel is few buildings awa from City central mall;. Also located in the heart of mangalore city and shopping destination. It is 2 mins walk from Ideal Cafe which is famous for icecreams in Mangalore- we had icecream every day of our stay. It is also a KM away from Taj Mahal Cafe- famous for Mangalore local delicacies and also very close to Machli, a famous fish food joint. 5/5 for this item.||Parking: ||As this hotel is in the heart of the shopping area, parking is a bit of challenge. They have parking only for about 6 cars and once this is done, we have to park our cars on the Municipal grounds near by- luckily we had the previlege of parking our car in the hotel itself during this period. 5/5 from my side||Par||Conclusion:||I recommend any one who visits Mangalore can confidently choose this hotel...

This was our third visit, and we continue to be impressed by the hotel. Its central location, right next to the City Centre Mall, makes it incredibly convenient. The staff are always courteous, well-mannered, and efficient, which adds a personal touch to the experience.

We stayed with a group of 45 students and 3 staff members for an educational tour for 2 days. Check-in was quick and seamless, with all documents handled via email, saving us time. The rooms were organized, and well-maintained. Both veg and non veg food was a highlight—delicious and varied, with a great mix of Indian and continental dishes served in the open-terrace banquet hall. The buffet breakfast was ample and scrumptious. Service was swift and efficient, and they managed to serve all our students simultaneously without any issues.
