I don't normally write a review (even when not happy), but here I was outright called a liar! Read moreMahalaxmi restaurant is on the way to main Gokarna beach and very close to Mahabaleshwar Shiva temple. The entrance is usually missed out due to multiple sops nearby but you can spot it by the outside sitting and small board. The place serves delicious south Indian authentic food. The Veg Kurma and paratha is must must must try dish here. The place also serve other South indian dishes like Idli, vada etc. Also you can try Kombucha tea here. Although I dint try it, my friends enjoyed it. The place offers take outs. The ambience is more like home stay and food has typical home made touch which is the best part of this place. The owner is very kind and attentive. If you drive your vehicle here, you might have to park slightly ahead towards the beach and walk down few steps to this restaurant. It's a must visit place for...

The old man gave me attitude because I already ate half which I can understand but you can't serve people terrible food that isn't on the menu, if you have run out of ingredients just let the customer know and ask them to order...
