Arabian Majlis Calicut — Restaurant in Kerala

Had a really bad experience here at my first visit itself.Called them before our visit to inquire about their majlis platter.We ordered at 2:10pm and food was served at 2:45pm.Half an hour wait was ok(even though the people who came after us were served) the food was good and tasty.But the service was really bad of both the supervisees and the waiters.The platter included 2 butter naan which we haven't got.when we inquired about this to the waiter one of them told that it was not included in the platter.when we checked the menu it naan was included in it.Later the supervisees told that we have no naan left.After having our whole meals we were served with the mint lime juice which was actually the 'WELCOME DRINK' which was to be served at first itself.We even received a bowl with 4 'gulaab jamun'.it was really shocking that the restaurant even saved their money in buying 4 bowls 4 spoons,so that they could serve each costomer seperately."business mind" .It took almost 15 minutes for re-filling our mayonnaise.When we asked them to serve us hot water,the reply that we caught was that their heater was not working,and i didnt know that all the restaurants used heaters for heating water.when we told all these things to the cashier he told that all these experience occurred to us as they were having full costomers.but the reality was 2 were not left to be filled while the time of ordering.When i came here to fill my review and rating i foud that these were not only my problems,but was common in that restaurant.really thanks that someone was responding to all these comments saying that you will be solving all these issues.But sad to say that you haven't solved any of them till now.The menu that the had was also not the same,one menu had platter with 2 dishes names cut while in other menu none of those dishes in platter was cut.Even though having all these problems,the pepper al-faham is a must try.Finally Arabian Majlis is simply "a restaurent with a good tasty food, with average ambiance ,and the worst management and service ever."hope you'll improve in your services...

Last week I visited Arabian Majlis Calicut and I really had a worst experience.Night around 8 PM we 7 people went there and asked whether they have dine-in the staff very politely told me that dine is not there but even though you can have food from first floor.And he added this much ambience is not there.So we all agreed to have from there.So we waited there in the ground floor till the food becomes ready.And after that one staff guided us towards first floor.I was shocked after seeing that area.That was an area being constructed in which there was no electricity and full of darkness.After some while one guy kept a small lamp there.Overall experience really sucks and they should have told it in the beginning itself.Such a worst...

Very bad experience from my last 3 years in CALICUT. I visited more than 5 times. 2 time's i ate food from the restaurant. 1st visit - Food was ok. Service was ok, less crowded. I suggested this restaurant to my friends. Swiping machine was not working & informed that they'll rectify soon. 2nd visit - same story swiping machine is down. Food quality was not satisfactory. 3rd visit - I came with friend's. just wanted to know their swiping machine status. Cashier's is saying it will rectify ASAP. 😂 4th - Same story😂 5th - Same story🙏🙏🙏

Don't tell some stories to customer and don't underestimate the power of mouth marketing 🥴.
