AVOID Bad Habits Cafe Varkala at all costs!
Rating: 1/5 (and that's being generous)
I had the misfortune of visiting Darjeeling Café Varkala, and it was an unmitigated disaster. The host was utterly disrespectful, with a condescending attitude that made me feel unwelcome from the start.
But the real travesty was the cheesecake. I've had my fair share of cheesecakes, but this one was an abomination. It was cloyingly sweet, with a texture that was simultaneously dry and soggy. The flavor was an insult to the very concept of cheesecake. It was like they took all the worst ingredients, threw them together, and then laughed maniacally as they served it to unsuspecting customers.
The combination of the host's rudeness and the vile cheesecake made for a dining experience that was nothing short of horrific. I would not feed this cheesecake to my worst enemy, let alone paying customers.
Unless you enjoy being treated like dirt and eating desserts that are an affront to humanity, stay far, far away from Bad Habits Cafe, Varkala. Trust me, your taste buds and your sanity...

One downside, however, is that they don’t clearly label whether the dishes contain egg or not, which can be a bit tricky for those with dietary restrictions.
Ample two wheeler parking space is available behind the cafe.
If you're looking for a sweet spot to unwind, this cafe is definitely a...
