Short Review: Do visit this place but take at least 1 hour in hand. Long review: The place is situated on the main beach area and is one the main cafes in Kovalam. The location is the main benefit of visiting this place. When we visited the place, it was monsoon-end in Kovalam so we could not be sit outside. Inside the atmosphere and vibe is just like any other beach cafe. Trance + pop music playing. A lot of crowd. The service is dang slow here. Honestly. Like it will take almost 15 minutes for the staff to take orders and then they will take another 15 minutes to serve the food. 30 minutes is still fine but these guys are serving fast-food items mostly so I don't know where is the gap. The food is amazing. No doubt here. They even served us complimentary garlic bread sticks which were delicious. The food is the USP of this place. If you can have some patience and want to try some of the best food in Kovalam, this is the cafe to go. You can visit this place with your friends, family, or partner. The place is very welcoming and there is a general chill-out vibe here. Overall definitely a must visit place but just a feedback to the owner and staff that please improve the service.

This cafe located on side of seashore near to the light house. As per my experience the cafe has wide popularity through media but the quality I expected from that not there. It’s only a normal cafe like all others, only difference is it’s has a sea face. So many cafés along the seashore of Kerala has more ambiance and quality than this. We can consider this only as better one at kovalam. Food items are serving in a different way that’s little funny. But going to the price if you are paying 300 something for a burger and 200 something for normal juice, then you are eating and drinking something different but reality it’s ordinary item. So as per price point of view I think it’s very expensive as compared to other cafes. Staffs are very professional and well maintained cafe. Seats are very traditional and architectural works are also good but it’s very congested . So privacy point of view it’s not friendly. The view from inside little small but the seats outside the building provide better one. Some seats are very near to walkways. So best time to visit after 5 pm.

Nice location and pleasant staff, so came here a couple of times for a decent breakfast although it was quite pricey compared to most places on the sea front. However we returned for supper and the food was awful. The chicken biriyani was gross fatty lumps of chewy tasteless chicken unfit for a dogs dinner. The veg burger was like a greasy potato rosti and even the staff didn’t know what it was made from. Later that night my partner and I both felt quite sick and suffered stomach pains. Improvements to the quality of the food and the way it is prepared are essential. It’s a wonderful quirky little place with a good vibe but that simply is not enough if The Beatles Cafe and Grill want to complete with similar restaurants that offer a much better standard and at a more competitive price. Wake up Beatles don’t just sit back and 🎶let it be🎶

Had fish wrapped in banana leaf. It was a big piece of Anjal fish. But the masala didn’t taste good at all. Too oily - you can see the oil floating around the edges. It tasted bland even though looks like they added a bunch of spices. The dominant flavor was coconut oil. I have had banana leaf wrapped fish numerous times but this was the worst! 👎 I was hungry as I had walked 2 kms from Samudra beach and didn’t have the energy to walk out and eat at another place. Had to add salt, pepper and lemon juice to make it palatable. The Fresh Lime Soda was ok. The service was pretty standard and dry even though only one more table was occupied. The cafe provides good views and ambience with quirky signages all over, but for the price they charge, the food left a lot to be desired. I don’t recommend this place. 👎👎

5 stars for the location and the view 4 stars for the milk shake 4 stars for the pizza 3 stars for other beverages 3 stars for other food 4 stars for service We loved sitting here and staring at the sea, observing other tourists passing by. The location was great. It was relaxing after a walk in the scorching sun. The food and beverages however, were average. We tried quite a few items between the 2 of us, but we didn't really like any of them. Husband was ok with the pizza, but I didn't like that too. Service was good. The staff was courteous. However, they took a long time to deliver the food. At one point, we even thought they had forgotten our order. All in all, it was an ok experience. We do not think we will visit again.
