I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe de Bangkok and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. One of the first things that caught my attention was the ample parking space available, making it convenient for customers to visit. Additionally, the cafe's location was easy to find, ensuring a hassle-free journey.

Now, let's talk about the food. I had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, and each one exceeded my expectations. The Chicken Wonton Fried was a fantastic starter, and the accompanying sauce was a true highlight. It struck the perfect balance between sweetness and spiciness, adding a delightful kick to the crispy wontons.

The Tempura Prawns were cooked to perfection, with a light and crispy batter that showcased the freshness of the prawns.

Moving on to the mains, the Burnt Garlic Coriander Rice was a fragrant and flavorful dish. The combination of the nutty garlic and the fresh coriander elevated the simple rice to a whole new level.

The Stir Fried Chicken Cashew Nut dish was a definite winner. The tender chicken, stir-fried with crunchy cashew nuts, created a delightful texture contrast. The dish struck a perfect balance of sweetness, showcasing the skillful blending of flavors.

The Stir Fried Chicken with Curry Powder was another standout dish. It captured the essence of authentic Thai cuisine, with its aromatic curry powder and the subtle creaminess from the coconut milk. Each bite was a burst of flavors, making it a true highlight of the meal.

To finish off, I indulged in a refreshing Bubble Tea, making it a perfect way to end the meal on a high note.

Overall, my experience at Cafe de Bangkok was nothing short of exceptional. However it is on the pricier side but If you're looking for an authentic Thai dining experience with a range of mouthwatering flavors, I highly recommend paying a visit to...

We has arrived at around 12 noon on a Sunday and were one of the first customers of the day. There seems to be enough seating available and could be a good place to hold a party for around 20-30 people. The establishment is well maintained and the washrooms were very neat.

The staff were very welcoming, courteous and efficient in taking our order. You could scan the QR code on the table for the menu or ask for a hard menu. The menu is very extensive and it would definitely take a while to decide and order something if you haven't done any prior research.

We ordered a soup and Satay squid as a starter. The soup was well flavoured with authentic thai herbs and spices. It was refreshing to have authentic thai food as opposed to the "Indianised" version which we usually get. The squid was well marinated with the right amount of chewiness. Almost forgot to mention that you would dipping sauces with almost all dishes

For the main course, we went ahead with the seafood platter and a pineapple fried rice. The platter had an assortment of different fish, prawns, squids etc. accompanied by two dipping sauces, one sweet and the other hot. The pineapple fried rice was well presented in half a pineapple, and the rice itself was a bit sweet with the pineapple juices and a mild tanginess here and there. We were not able to finish the main course, so we opted to pack the leftovers.

For drinks we ordered a mango smoothie and a vanilla flavored bubble tea. There are no option of any fresh fruit juices which I felt ia a bummer, the smoothie is made with mango flavored essence. It is frozen and you would have to eat it like you would eat an ice cream. The vanilla flavored bubble tea was super and...

Wanting to stick to our tryouts of Asian Culinary, we ended at Cafe De Bangkok Kochi on our trip back to Trivandrum. And it sure was a great shot of flavourful, smile inducing servings of blissful cuisine that we enjoyed. The ever common Manchurian Soup being elevated to a smacking combination of bursting flavors should help get an idea of what was on offer. The authentic smoky flavors of the Chicken Wonton Soup established the fact that the Chef knew his game spot on... And then we realized that it was by coincidence that we got to enjoy the food prepared by Chef Kuan Lai... And the reason for calling him a Master Chef was evident in the food that was on offer... The Salmon Maki (I always try them when possible) was easily one of the Best I have had Globally.... What an acute combination of flavours that really made the dish so pleasant and mouth refreshing... Like a pallette cleanser it is supposed to be, with the hint of the Mayo drop with Roe making it's way through the Wasabi and Pickled Ginger, only elevated by the light yet impactful blend of Soy Dip.... Floored then and there... For dumplings we had their Chicken Sui Mai which equally stood on par with expectations. While the Mountain Chilli Chicken was good, the Lotus Stem Chilli Plum was something different on offer, and the sweetness of the chilli plum sauce will hit the spot for those who love sweet and savory dishes. Since it was just the two of us and a long way back to Tvm, we settled for just starters, if not would have repeated the Salmon Maki and ordered a few more... Kudos to the place and Chef for the great flavors we could indulge during our journey... Here's wishing them the heights of the culinary world...
