Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe de Bangkok and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. One of the first things that caught my attention was the ample parking space available, making it convenient for customers to visit. Additionally, the cafe's location was easy to find, ensuring a hassle-free journey.
Now, let's talk about the food. I had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, and each one exceeded my expectations. The Chicken Wonton Fried was a fantastic starter, and the accompanying sauce was a true highlight. It struck the perfect balance between sweetness and spiciness, adding a delightful kick to the crispy wontons.
The Tempura Prawns were cooked to perfection, with a light and crispy batter that showcased the freshness of the prawns.
Moving on to the mains, the Burnt Garlic Coriander Rice was a fragrant and flavorful dish. The combination of the nutty garlic and the fresh coriander elevated the simple rice to a whole new level.
The Stir Fried Chicken Cashew Nut dish was a definite winner. The tender chicken, stir-fried with crunchy cashew nuts, created a delightful texture contrast. The dish struck a perfect balance of sweetness, showcasing the skillful blending of flavors.
The Stir Fried Chicken with Curry Powder was another standout dish. It captured the essence of authentic Thai cuisine, with its aromatic curry powder and the subtle creaminess from the coconut milk. Each bite was a burst of flavors, making it a true highlight of the meal.
To finish off, I indulged in a refreshing Bubble Tea, making it a perfect way to end the meal on a high note.
Overall, my experience at Cafe de Bangkok was nothing short of exceptional. However it is on the pricier side but If you're looking for an authentic Thai dining experience with a range of mouthwatering flavors, I highly recommend paying a visit to...
Read moreWe has arrived at around 12 noon on a Sunday and were one of the first customers of the day. There seems to be enough seating available and could be a good place to hold a party for around 20-30 people. The establishment is well maintained and the washrooms were very neat.
The staff were very welcoming, courteous and efficient in taking our order. You could scan the QR code on the table for the menu or ask for a hard menu. The menu is very extensive and it would definitely take a while to decide and order something if you haven't done any prior research.
We ordered a soup and Satay squid as a starter. The soup was well flavoured with authentic thai herbs and spices. It was refreshing to have authentic thai food as opposed to the "Indianised" version which we usually get. The squid was well marinated with the right amount of chewiness. Almost forgot to mention that you would dipping sauces with almost all dishes
For the main course, we went ahead with the seafood platter and a pineapple fried rice. The platter had an assortment of different fish, prawns, squids etc. accompanied by two dipping sauces, one sweet and the other hot. The pineapple fried rice was well presented in half a pineapple, and the rice itself was a bit sweet with the pineapple juices and a mild tanginess here and there. We were not able to finish the main course, so we opted to pack the leftovers.
For drinks we ordered a mango smoothie and a vanilla flavored bubble tea. There are no option of any fresh fruit juices which I felt ia a bummer, the smoothie is made with mango flavored essence. It is frozen and you would have to eat it like you would eat an ice cream. The vanilla flavored bubble tea was super and...
