Their loyalty program is a cruel joke.
What an absolute disgrace and betrayal by what was once our "favourite" cafe, Cafe Addict Guruvayoor. This isn't just a bad meal; it's a calculated breach of trust that culminated in profound public embarrassment.
We are REGULAR customers. We've visited countless times, specifically because of their loyalty program. We diligently accumulated points worth approximately ₹900, receiving frequent messages from Cafe Addict themselves reminding us of our accumulated balance and urging us to redeem it at the restaurant. These messages weren't suggestions; they were promises.
Today, excited to finally redeem this hard-earned "free meal" after so long, I proudly told my family we were treating them thanks to our loyalty points. We enjoyed our food (which, frankly, now tastes like ash after this experience), approached the counter to redeem... and were utterly SHOCKED.
The manager flatly stated I had NO POINTS available.Despite the constant messages confirming my ₹900 balance, despite being a loyal patron who earned those points fair and square, he refused the redemption. There was no explanation, no apology, no offer to investigate – just a cold refusal forcing me to pay the full bill.
The humiliation was crushing. Standing there at the counter, in front of other customers and, worst of all, my own family whom I had just assured about this special treat, feeling like a liar or a fool because Cafe Addict failed to honor their own program. The embarrassment they caused is unforgivable.
This isn't incompetence; it's false advertising and a scam. They lure you in with promises of loyalty rewards, bombard you with messages about your accumulated points, and then simply deny their existence when you try to use them. They disrespected our loyalty, wasted our time, and subjected us to public shame.
Will we ever visit again? ABSOLUTELY NOT.Any establishment that treats its loyal customers with such contempt, breaks its promises so casually, and causes such unnecessary humiliation deserves to fail. Save your money and your dignity. **Avoid Cafe Addict Guruvayoor...
Read moreFood was great. Service was excellent. Even security was very pleasant. Had a very good smile from all the staff. Staff run towards the door to open the door n welcome us. The staff noticed my hands were busy with 2 kids . My kids enjoyed the food . The chicken wings and meat lovers Pizza and I too had a small byte from those to know the taste . One slice and one wings I craved for more but I don't want to break my routines. Usually I don't have dinner in my routine that's why I didn't order anything for myself other than an Americano. And the americano I got was extremely good. Usually I get either burnt or too light or too bitter . I have coffee without sweet I like it that way. It helps to drive at night it will keep me awake. The sweetened version doesn't help. I could say coffee was the best I had in recent days. And in the rush hour there where someone was waiting for our table to empty still the staff didn't even bother giving me plenty of time for my kids to enjoy the food and eat till they were full. Even in our way out security and other staff helped us. Even other staff too had some chit chat with us and made us very comfortable. The security opened us and made sure we drove out very safely and gave us a hand wave too It felt like they all knew me. It's my first time here. Anyway I will be happy to visit anytime I travel in this route. And recommend this place. Keep up the good work going. Also I'm happy to see smiling faces . Felt like a premium resort staycation. Even though it was a 2...
Read moreNestled in the quaint streets outside the Guruvayoor temple, Cafe Addict is a delightful surprise. The warm, cozy, inviting atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. The decor is simple yet charming, with vintage-inspired furniture and soft lighting.
The menu is a delightful mix of classic comfort foods and innovative twists. I opted for the signature "come back burger" and a lemon mojito to wash it down. The burger was a double beef patty burger with their special sauce, charred onion and lettuce, and a side of fries. It had it's own unique and quirky taste. Not for everyone, but I liked it. As for the mojito it was fairly average.
The service was impeccable. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that every need was met. The place draped in Edison bulbs had a great old-school cafe vibe to it. Overall, Cafe Addict is a great visit for anyone looking for a nonveg dining experience near the...
