Cafe Sandy Bay Varkala Parking — Restaurant in Kerala

I recently visited Sandy Bay Pub in Varkala on the night of 12th October 2024, and I left feeling extremely disappointed. One of the staff members, a man wearing a white t-shirt , was shockingly rude and arrogant. He showed zero respect to paying customers, which is simply unacceptable. This is not how a business should treat the very people who keep it running.

We aren’t here for free – we’re paying for the services, and all we expect is to be treated with basic decency. I’m not asking for anything extra, just common courtesy. This experience was so negative that I’m hesitant to return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone if this is the standard of customer service they can expect.

It’s a real shame that such a nice spot is ruined by one person’s attitude. I hope management takes this seriously because if this behavior is tolerated, it will only drive more customers away. If this staff member remains, it will reflect poorly on the entire...

Very bad experience about the service which they provided and their food. We actually a group of teachers ordered Kerala style meals with prawns, curry, fish fry, and chicken. But sadly, we have received low quality meals. We, a group of 22 teachers, planned a sent off party to three of our colleagues. For that purpose, we chose this cafe, and they offered us a package worth 700/- rupees, which includes welcome drink, lunch, and evening tea with snacks. Pure scammers. Last night they made us pay 500 rupees to get to the New Year's Eve party, just to close 5 minutes later. As soon as we went inside the music stopped and finished. We complained about it as they didn't tell us that they were going to close, but they ignored us and they didn't refund us. They acted like bullies. Don't go to that place!!!! Very bad people...
