I ordered a fish dish, and right away, I noticed it had an unusual taste. Initially, I thought it might be a unique preparation and that it was meant to taste that way. However, as I continued to eat, I realized that only some of the pieces were off, and I began to experience an itchy feeling on my tongue. It was discomforting enough that I couldn't continue with the dish.
When the server came to clear our plates, she inquired about the untouched fish dish and asked if everything was alright. I mentioned that it just didn't taste good to me. She took note and left our table.
After a while, she returned and informed me that the fish used in the dish was Mahi Mahi. Now, I'm quite familiar with this fish, and there's no way it should taste the way it did. It soon struck me that the fish had gone bad. In a hushed tone, I shared my suspicion with the server so that other customers wouldn't overhear. She assured me that it wasn't the case but said she would inform the manager.
We settled our bill and left, but the most disappointing part of the experience was the manager's lack of courtesy. The manager didn't approach our table, inquire further, or even acknowledge the issue. Instead, they seemed to be eyeing our table with suspicion, making me feel as if I were one of those customers trying to get a dish removed from the menu. We didn't even complain – we simply responded to the server's query. What any customer would expect in such a situation is just an acknowledgment.
This is what happens when you try to run a fine dine with people who do not understand hospitality or are not from hospitality background.
I might not go back there anymore, but I hope that sharing this feedback can lead to improvements...

Read moreI would gladly give them 5 stars for the food, service and decor. The small cons, I will add at the end. Food: We got a honey chili lotus stem appetizer that was delicious and my two friends who tried it for the first time absolutely enjoyed it. The soups Tom Kha and Manchow were also pretty good. Entree: Thai green curry chicken (solid) ✅️ Royal curry - this was decent but we couldn't pin point the lack of amazingness. Also, the server didn't describe this well when we asked about it. But that's alright. Language issues. We ordered Steamed rice and Spinach/corn egg fried rice to go with the entrees. Solid ✅️ We also got a Mixed Vegetables entree later. It was decent and in made in soy sauce, decent but not my first preference. For all of these, for four people it came up to only ₹2.2k ish. The ambience was great and conversation was easy (no loud music or road noise coming in). Subtle lightening so it made for comfort but people with menu reading issues, whip out your macro camera mode w light haha (me).
It seemed like you had to climb some steps from parking area and then climb some steps down again to reach this restaurant.. or upstairs they had a "signature place". Washrooms are outside the restaurant but clean and well maintained with signs saying "only for chopstick customers" and there is a doorman also at the main restaurant so the standards are quite decent. If they have lift access it was not very clear so if you go with older mobility challenged people or wheelchair needs, please call ahead...
