Expensive food with cheap service quality
I had placed an order for 130 boxes containing a snack and three sweets. They shared that the boxes do not carry any charges. A price was agreed upon, and I paid an advance.
Later, they delivered the boxes 30–40 minutes late than the agreed time, and they showed no seriousness even on the phone when I requested to deliver the boxes on time. The prices of the boxes shot up by around Rs. 1000 over the agreed-upon price, and there was a difference of 2 kg over the actual weight, which was checked while placing the order. When requested for an explanation, they started talking about boxes being free of charge, the freshness of the sweet, staff having to pay the extra if I did not pay the added amount, etc. They started making me feel as if they had done some charity by giving the boxes free of charge, which were told not to carry any charges.
Normally, when we place a bulk order for snacks, I understand there will be some concession. They charged me the full amount for the 130 snacks, which are already priced at a premium, without any discounts.
A proper printed bill of the weights was not given, and only when asked, they gave it in a handwritten slip. The handwritten slip did not look like it was capturing the proper weights, but an adjusted one to tally the printed bill. They did not send any pictures of the actual weights while they were being measured.
For the premium price paid, I do not think their service is of exceptional quality. Moreover, they did not respond to these same queries that I had raised through their WhatsApp and email. It looks like once they get their payment, they won't bring clarity to customer issues. I hope that with the premium pricing they have put on the items, they will do justice to their service quality and customer retention.
NB: Irrespective of these issues raised, the taste of the items...
Read moreWanted to try this place cause a friend recommended ..parking is a problem..just enough space for two cars..but when we asked them if they had more parking they said we could park in the mall opposite and they would deduct the parking fees from their bill.pretty well.done bakery..they also have a cafe on top..the menu looks promising but we had already had lunch and had dropped in just to look at the dessert options They were offering free tasting of their cream sponge cakes..got to say was excellent..but we ordered the apple pie, white choclate brownie and powdered sugar doughnuts..pie was ok..but the brownie and doughnut was not great..but will definitely visit again and try their other offerings 2nd visit This time we went for lunch..rates are reasonable for the kind of cuisine on offer. Food quality need to improve..quantity is on the higher side..liked the pasta..cheese cake was decent..slightly more salt than required..jerk chicken was disappointing..infact it wasn't jerk chicken..this was like an indo Chinese version..chicken tenders was ok...but don't feel.like panko crumbed coating like it was mentioned in the menu...garlic bread need to be stiffer..looked like they used regular sandwich...
Read moreThis Diwali sweet box has nine different types of sweets. They're fairly pricey, especially when you factor in the box presentation fees. If you're just purchasing sweets for the purpose of buying sweets, they also have a box with the standard sweets you'd find in a sweets shop. Except for the Mysore pak, mini jalebi, badhushah, and laddu, we don't like sweets that contain a variety of coloured burfi, katli, besan laddu, halwa, and so on (and it will be a terrible waste). We don't buy sweets very often, so instead of the normal sweet box we get from every other shop, we decided to sample a variety of sweets.
The sweets were fine, but don't expect too much, and some of them tasted similar to others we've tried before, albeit with different names. The box is lovely, as is the pleasant presentation. My personal favourite is kaju paan, which we purchased extra & it is not included in the Diwali box and kheer kadam. In addition, their customer service...
