This was the worst experience we have ever had at a KFC. The entire experience frustrated all of us. We were a group of four and found it extremely annoying that there were no suitable combo options for us. The choices were either a bucket of eight chicken pieces with nothing else or a 12-piece bucket that only included two proper pieces of chicken, with the rest being wings or strips. We were left with no other option than to add on basic items like chicken pieces, fries, and drinks separately.
Not only that, but the person working at the cash register had a very harsh attitude. The way he behaved toward us made it seem as if we had done something to personally offend him.
When the chicken eventually arrived, the pieces were either undercooked or bland. We could tell the chicken was not fresh, as some of the pieces even had a pinkish hue. It was as if none of the 11 herbs and spices were used on this batch. The breading had no flavor, and it felt like eating boiled chicken. We did not spend ₹1,300 to eat bland, boiled chicken. It was the absolute worst fried chicken we've ever had from any outlet.
Furthermore, the outlet had eleven uncleaned tables, with leftovers from previous customers still sitting there. To make matters worse, all of us suffered from stomach problems a few hours after eating.
The most disappointing thing is that KFC is considered a luxury here in India, so you would expect a luxurious outlet and professional service. Instead, we received the complete opposite. We have been to local fried chicken shops that have consistently provided a better experience than what we got from an international, billion-dollar corporation.
There's a Popeyes right next to this KFC. I would recommend you go there instead of wasting your health, money, and time visiting this particular KFC outlet.
We understand that the combo options are likely outside of the individual franchise's control, yet it is still annoying. However, the poor quality of the chicken and the lack of cleanliness are definitely the responsibility of this franchise.
TL;DR: One of the staff members was rude, the chicken was undercooked and lacked flavor, there were no good options for a family of four, and the tables were unkempt...
Read moreI ordered a hot and crispy chicken bucket with 8 pieces One noodles with popcorn chicken . One burger , Beverages , French fries additional sauces etc The bill amount for 3 persons was about 2000 .
Within 5 minutes their display board showed my order is ready for delivery
When I checked at the delivery counter the person said even though the status board shows ready it will take more time and they will manually call the order number. Some one was making noice about the same issue at the counter asking staff why to display Ready on boad if it it is not actually ready for delivery . I waited for almost half an hour . Still noodles was not ready but later they delivered it on table .
Even the pictorial menu shows ONLY chicken legs pieces in hot and crispy bucket chicken . I couldn't find even one leg piece in that 8 piece bucket which costs about Rs 750 . Felt literally cheated. For Rs 750 one can buy atleast one full dressed chicken any where in India they could have included at least one leg piece in one bucket of 8 pieces . Forget about leg pieces the chicken I got were all like junk .But I didn't make any noise about it . Later I came to know for leg pieces they charge about Rs 200 per piece
About other items noodles was pathetic . But burger was very good After spending 2000 for 3 persons I felt like cheated. For Rs 1000 I could get a good meal or chicken any other restaurant nearby .
But I have visited KFC s abroad and states many many times but the food severed there are much more better in quality and quantity and there is no such cheating you will literally get items according the pictorial...
Read moreIn spite of spending around Rs 2080 (that's the 12 pieces mega deal but it doesn't matter what you order for) don't understand why Pepsi is still given away in paper cups if you order for take away. That's very unprofessional & very poor customer service bcoz by the time that pepsi reaches home, either it will mostly spill off during your journey (due to bad quality carry bags which again are being charged extra & I"m pretty sure most of you would have by now experienced) or if you are lucky enough some pepsi did make it home, it would taste just like water only bcoz these are distributed in paper cups. It would by then have lost all the fizz. While waiting for my take away, I also happened to strangely notice that Pepsi being delivered to customers via 3rd party food apps are being delivered in pet bottles which will still keep these bubbly & spill proof. Now that's the right way to keep Pepsi even while take away. I reside in Dubai and not sure if it's bcoz of the food & service standards being regularly monitored & maintained in such an amazing country, it always feels worth the money, be it take away or home delivery. Just a humble request bcoz I'm pretty sure even when I write this review, this practise is not going to change but worthwhile to reconsider and up your customer service levels bcoz by the end of it all, I strongly believe " Customer is king" and he/she should be given the best of service always...
