Exceptional Hospitality Shines Bright, Thanks to Paul!

My recent visit to Green Park Restaurant was an absolute delight, and while the food certainly played its part, what truly elevated the entire experience was the outstanding hospitality, particularly from our waiter, Paul.

From the moment we were seated, the warmth and professionalism of the staff were evident, but Paul was an absolute standout. He was extraordinarily friendly and incredibly polite, making us feel genuinely welcomed and valued throughout our meal. His attentiveness was impeccable – always there when needed but never intrusive, anticipating our needs with a genuine smile and a professional demeanor.

Paul wasn't just taking orders; he was creating an experience. He engaged with us thoughtfully, answered questions with confidence, and handled every interaction with grace and charm. It's rare to encounter such a perfect blend of friendliness and polished professionalism.

The restaurant is incredibly lucky to have a staff member like Paul. He doesn't just do his job; he embodies the very best of customer service. He is a shining example for others on how to treat customers with respect, genuine care, and an approachable yet professional attitude.

And of course, it's worth mentioning that the food was indeed good, well-prepared and enjoyable, which perfectly complemented the excellent service.

A massive kudos and a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Paul – you truly made our visit memorable. Your dedication to providing an outstanding guest experience is commendable, and you are a tremendous asset to Green Park. We look forward to returning, hoping to be served by you again!

During our journey from Ernakulam to Shornur, we made the mistake of stopping at this restaurant for lunch. Our group included four adults and two toddlers, both 2 years old. It was well past lunchtime, and our kids were very much hungry, to the point that they started crying. We always carry homemade food for our children, so while waiting for our orders to be taken, we began feeding them some idlis we brought from home.

To our complete disbelief, the manager at the cash counter told us not to feed our own children the home food we brought. His absurd excuse? He claimed that if our kids got sick from eating home food, it would tarnish the restaurant’s reputation. We had to stop feeding them, much to the disappointment of our kids. :(

The sheer lack of humanity displayed here is appalling. I strongly recommend others stay away from such an obnoxious, inhumane, and insensitive place.

We had lunch at Green Park Restaurant and ordered their Kizhi Biriyani Chicken. It was quite a different experience as the biriyani came wrapped in Vazhayila (banana leaf) with a bull’s eye egg on top, further sealed with silver foil paper.

The presentation was impressive, and the quantity was more than enough with sufficient chicken pieces. However, the taste was average — nothing extraordinary apart from the bull’s eye topping. The price was slightly on the higher side, but considering the quantity, it seemed reasonable.

The staff were polite and humble, which added to the overall positive experience. The restaurant’s proximity to Jubilee Mission Hospital makes it a convenient dining option for those visiting the hospital.
