Hungry Paul — Restaurant in Kerala

Staff behaviour is not good. When myself and my wife reached the restaurant, we asked the staff whether there is dining facility available upstairs, but the staff told that such facility is not available. But only one seat where we seated was only vacant, so we decided to sit there. We then ordered the food and waited there for more than half an hour. But in between many people ordered food and went upstairs. Then I asked is there dining facility still available upstairs, as I have seen people going upstairs. Then they replied that only two seats were available, just now that also got filled. Then I asked why you people didn't clearly explained the matter to us. Then they replied that we will allow people to sit upstairs when the seats in the ground floor gets filled and it will be waste of electricity if we turn on the Air Conditioner for two people. Such a waste of reply made us to leave the scene immediately. If they could have clearly replied the matter earlier, we could have saved the wastage of waiting for food that much time and we could have had a nice evening experience. Infact there was no privacy in the ground floor where we have seated and it was a congested space altogether and we cannot speak in a relaxing manner. Moreover the minimum time to get the food delivered is half an hour even though they know this fact but still they are ruining their firm's business. Nowadays people are going to such restaurants not only to have food but also to have some relaxing outing with our friends loved ones or relatives. But such attitude or response from these staffs are infact destroying there own business. Very poor...

We visited Hungry Paul Pizza Shop at 8:30 PM, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing.

We had to wait for 15 minutes just to get the attention of the waiter for a menu card. We placed our order at 8:45 PM but didn’t receive our pizza until 10 PM. The wait time was incredibly long and frustrating. It appeared that there was only one staff member handling orders, serving, and billing. This left us considering canceling our order and leaving for another restaurant. Our hunger had vanished by the time the food arrived.

Moreover, the watermelon juice was excessively sweet, loaded with sugar, and when we requested a replacement, it wasn’t much better. Basic service elements were lacking: no one came to clean our table, and we had to wait for water and tissue paper. We were seated upstairs, which seemed to be neglected entirely.

To the management: Please improve your service by hiring additional staff to handle orders and serve customers promptly. These are basic expectations from any café or restaurant.

Although the restaurant does not have dedicated parking, there is ample parking space available nearby, which is convenient for visitors.
