Indian Coffee House, Thrissur Vadakke Stand — Restaurant in Kerala

I visited Indian Coffee House for breakfast. There is only street parking available, and the restaurant itself is just a small room with very limited seating. The ambience isn’t great—it feels more like a small local shop. The tables and surroundings are just okay.

We tried the Ghee Roast, which was really tasty and crisp. The side chutneys were also good and complemented the meal well. However, the coffee was quite disappointing and didn’t live up to expectations.

There’s only one wash basin and no toilet facility available, which can be inconvenient. Despite the basic setup, the service from the waiters was good and attentive.

Overall, it’s a simple local place with above-average food, but not ideal if you’re looking for comfort or ambience. Best suited for a quick bite rather than a relaxed...

Indian Coffee House is famous for the quality and taste of foods from its beginning itself. Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Cutlet, Beef Cutlet, Bread Butter Jam, Omlet, Beef Omlet, etc are some of the best items available there. The Cold Coffee of Indian Coffee is my weakness...There is a speciality in their masala used in Masala Dosa, Poori Masala, Vegetable Cutlet etc...it is red in colour since they add beetroot in the Masala and perhaps they are the only Hotel Group who prepare Masala like this.....another speciality is the taste....you can feel the same taste for the food in all their hotels...I can use the phrase...'Best Quality at Reasonable Price' to say...
