It's a casual as local as it's gets and hole in the wall gem of a authentic Kerala snacks and eatery. I came for BF at 8 am as things were still being prepared. Note: It's a take away place, but if you insist on eating, be sure to pick up a stainless place, rinse , eat what you want and then clean it also and put back on the bin. It's clean & neat and items are fresh tasty and you enjoy an experience of local dishes such as deep fried or roasted pathri, veg cutlet, of course idly-sambar-chutney , bonda, 'Uzhunnu vada' ( urad dal or medhu vada') , banana fritter, Go and explore the shop inside where they sell items such as fried strips jackfruit chips( Chakka Chippu n coconut oil MCT), samosa etc. Go early. People come and grab in qty exceeding 25 or 50. I think small shops to resell these. Local homestays also pickup their food here. Enjoy a local Thrissur Gem , it's right beside green books.

Lakshmi Sweets is famous for sweet varieties in Thrissur. Lakshmi Sweets is located between Thiruvambady Sree Krishna temple and Swaraj Round, Shoranur road. Varieties of sweets, like Laddu, Jileby, peda, burfy etc..., Snacks like, Uzhunnu Vada, Parippu Vada, Pazhampori, Masala bonda, Samosa, Bajji etc available in Lakshmi Sweets @ very reasonable price. Varieties of pickle, Veppilakatti, varieties of Chips are the main highlight of Lakshmi Sweets. Pickle Varieties: Mango Lemon Vadukapuli Mixed Vegetable Sadya Mango pickle. Chips: Banana Jackfruit Tapioca Potato Snacks : Bajji Samosa Masala Bonda Pazhampori Uzhunnu Vada Parippu Vada Vegetable Puffs Onion Pakkavada Pakkavada Vegetable Roll Idly , Chutney and Sambar are available at morning time between 6 am and 8 am.
