Indian Coffee House — Restaurant in Kerala

I recently had an unpleasant experience at the Indian Coffee House in Kozhikode. The coffee house has parking in front, but the security insists on directing where to park. I was asked to park close to the building, which ended up blocking another vehicle. When I returned, the security pointed out two people waiting for me to move, despite the fact that I had small kids with me, which caused a bit of delay. His attitude came across as rather negative. To allow the other car to pass, I moved my vehicle to a gap in front of a nearby guest house for just a couple of minutes. My intention was a quick stop, as I also wanted to grab a chocolate for my child. However, the person from the guest house came out and started shouting rudely, claiming it was private property and not allowing even a brief halt. This lack of understanding and manners was disappointing, especially considering a little adjustment would’ve made a big difference in customer friendliness. I had initially thought this guest house, "NCK tourist Home " , might be a good place to stay given its proximity to the Indian Coffee House. However, after this experience, I wouldn’t recommend it due to the staff’s unfriendly behavior. I always preferred this place for having food when I am outside of my home. You can have good food it's never harm your stomach. This Indian coffee house is is organised by a cooperative society. almost all staff of this wonderful restaurant themselves as a partner for this cooperative society. So you will expect always a good food with very neat and clean. When while I am a Traveller I always looking when I am here in Kerala to get nearest Indian coffee house for my dinner, breakfast as well as the lunch. I hope they have more than hundred restaurant throughout in Kerala. I heard it had been working even outside of Kerala also but I don't know the exact place. The worst indian coffee house I ever been. I had a plate of idly sambar and chutney. Really bad experience, idly was bitter and sambar was so watery. Never expected this from indian coffee house. Good space for seating, good parking space as they share the area with the near by hotel. Waiters were not so interested in taking the order. As usual it’s not expected from indian coffee house. Please don’t choose this coffee house for breakfast.
