Visited Bunclub on a weekday evening. The place has a cozy vibe, but seating is limited and wait times can be long – so it’s best to go early or be prepared to wait.

Food: The highlight of the visit was definitely the Bombolini – a soft bun filled with rich cream. Delicious and indulgent- 4.5/5 The Korean Bun was unique with a slightly sour and cheesy twist – interesting flavor profile -4/5 Loaded Fries were tasty, especially the sauces and mayo they use. However, they skimped on the chicken, which made them feel a bit underwhelming for something labeled “loaded.” Rating: 4/5 The Macchiato didn’t quite hit the mark – felt average -2.5/5

Service: The service could definitely use improvement. Staff weren’t attentive or clear about wait times. We were waiting at counter to place our order, only for the staff member to walk away mid-process. It felt disorganized – possibly due to being understaffed or lacking a clear...

Bun club (specifically eranhipalam branch) is one of my most frequented cafes in calicut.. You MUST try the lava bun..It's soft with a sweet but pleasantly surprising crumbly surface..Just brilliant! Out of all the sandwiches..try the bunclub special (enough for two), with of course their karak chai. The other sandwiches are so-so..maybe not even worth the amount you will pay. Pastries, creamy coconut chicken, steaks, buns, chicken satay, salads, chicken steak etc are good too. Cheese lovers, do try the lasagna..its very good. You must try their almond butter cookie (big biscuits piled up in a glass jar on the counter)..its amazing..and they know it, therefore u need to pay 40rs for a single 5cm diameter biscuit..outrageous! (used to be 20rs) Till their chef changed, they even had the best pasta in town, not anymore. One of the best cafes to meet up with friends. I highly recommend.
